Ho no a ludicrous comment. The guy has won champions league etc as a manager. You probably still believe Pep and his style can't work in premier league. That was a fact too . ZZ is a top , top manager. To say otherwise really embarrasses you.

He’s not a top top manager. A good one but wouldn’t mind seeing him go to the rags because the rebuilding job will be astronomical.

If they play more attacking their defense will be even more exposed and it’s terrible. Many of their starters are getting old and he probably needs at £200m to start the rebuild.

They would get a boost from mid table to top 4 candidates but still years away from challenging for the title.

I’d be pretty staggered if he was still there for the Derby, mate.
He will still be in his job for one simple reason. They can't afford to sack him.
Read they owe prem clubs £258m for players.
The whole rotten edifice is crumbling and they have over reached even their massive income.
Wage bill is already huge and a new manager would demand a raft of new players and a whole new backroom staff.

Potential scenario

Getting kicked out of CL early, not doing well in EL
Missing out on CL ( and EL) for 19/20
No cup runs
Reduced PL TV games this year
Massive wages bill
Many players into last year of contracts, wanting parity/increases
Massively increased previous transfer payments still owed
Manager sacking payoff
Commercial revenue growth stalled
Match day income further declined
no nvestment in club infrastructure
Dividends still shipped to Virgin/cayman Islands

Leeds/Portsmouth ? Or too big to fail...

He only won one La Liga. I judge managers by their league form, not cup competitions.

Nope. He’d shit himself as the other poster said.

I don’t think he’ll even entertain the job tbh.

I think they’re reaching the stage where they can’t afford to not sack him.

This.

They went from 2nd place to joint worst start in their history haha. Talk about a decline.

Big game for them in the CL with Valencia who will certainly be up for it. I expected a reaction after the cup exit but they got dismantled by West Ham. Think they could lose again which would make it much more difficult getting out of the group as they play Juve twice after.

They are in trouble, the team has no desire what so ever.

No chance his ego will accept a clause in his contract that'll give him less money. Remember, they went cap in hand after him so PEG would hold all the cards in any contract neg.
Not to sure about that, Peg was hardly inundated with offers and his own opinion of himself, may have thought he would never finish outside the top 4 with the rags.

I simply can’t see him turning it round.

Newcastle won’t be easy to break down, don’t beat Valencia and don’t beat Newcastle I don’t care how much pay off he will get I can’t see how he stays

They are joint top on games played and will be top on stadium capacity if Spuds ever finish the new WHL.
They don't seem too bothered about being top on points or goal difference.

Joint top by means of having the word Manchester in their name. Even though they play their home games in Trafford and their fans had a short trip home after yesterdays horror show.
