Probably because the poisonous buffoon is far more representative of the average Tory member than most of the Government.

I guess my point more is this meme was about trolling liberals, but I really don't see what the point in that is. I'm not really on board with people who find that funny or think that flooding the internet with false information is a fair tactic in undermining those you disagree with. When I look at who came up with the joke/meme, who is laughing and who it's aimed at, it's pretty apparent to me that the guy in that photo is probably not my kind of guy.

Making fun of people who are engaged in outrage culture and take themselves WAY too seriously is in the best traditions of comedy. Private Eye, Not the Nine O'Clock News and many others made a living from it.
 
Anyone saying this government hasn't failed it's citizens then watch tonights dispatches on Ch4 and see the effects of austerity and resulting police cuts.

If this is true its insane... more social housing has been built in Scotland than England in the last ten years. In actual figures, not %age or per capita, or what have you.

This austerity lark has played straight into Tory hands. For many years they have been praying for a roll back of the state and austerity has been the key. They have been trying to find a way to give more work to private firms by reducing the amount of money given to councils and consequently we, you and I, are having to pay more and more for services. It would not surprise me if more and more people were paying for health insurance because of the problems in the NHS. They try to tell us that more money than ever is being spent on the NHS and yet we are 30,000 to 40,000 nurses short, depending on which figures you believe and 10,000 doctors. If we are short of them then we are not paying their wages so where is that money?

In the 60’s and 70’s and part of the 80’s unions had a stranglehold on British industry and you could argue destroyed it. We now manufacture very little and services are the flavour. The masters now are the bosses with record numbers on zero hours contracts and minimum wage. It is no wonder firms like Primark, Aldi, Lidl etc are doing so well. We are going back towards a Victorian age when bosses ruled, plenty more where you came from. Record numbers of homeless, shortage of houses to rent or buy and even if you find one you can’t afford one.

Tories rule. I am no socialist but there has to be a fairer way.
