R.I.P the British political.system but Badenoch has certainly done her bit to introduce nothing useful inciteful or honest. Tories clearly barrel scraping for direction from their leader.

Farage will soon reveal his connections with Putin are not going to help the brain dead electorate - Boris lite **** with even less " personality" but similarly corrupt and dishonest.

I think you missed my point with this one - of course they voted against the NHS. The NHS is probably the most unconservative thing ever introduced in this country's history - you don't vote conservatives to get something like the NHS, that's what you vote progressives in to do. Your comment just backs up my point, that today's conservatives are nothing like the old conservatives.

Conservatives aren't supposed to be the people putting forward radical new ideas. Their whole MO is supposed to be to protect what we have and not rock the boat. It's in the name. You need both types of politicians to successfully run a country, those who will propose we change to a different way, and those who propose we stay the same and protect the good things. The NHS is part of our national status quo and largely seen as a 'good thing' and so their default position should be to keep it operating effectively. But that is clearly not the case, they have no desire to conserve, only to radically shake things up - leave the EU, leave the UNHCR, leave whatever they don't like next week, deny science and fund conspiracy theories about climate change.

I would argue that the Lib Dems today are the closest thing to a classical conservative approach. They want to protect hard won freedoms and rights, they want to protect the NHS, they want to maintain our place in the global markets. The problem is none of these things are radical enough for the social media generation and so they get zero airtime.
