Helicopter crash involving Leicester City owners

If you don't like it or don't want to read other people paying their respects then don't read the bloody thread, instead you are tryng to be a smartarse and failing as you just look pathetic.

RIP to anyone who died, it's tragic and at the end of the day we are all footy fans whoever we support.
Absolutely not.
Reading comprehension is not a strong suit on this Forum.

Sad news , a decent owner and one that had a connection with the Leicester supporters , this tragic incident puts a lot of things into perspective , hopefully Leicester will continue to get the support from the Vichai's family , at least their miraculous 2014 title win will never be forgotten and a fitting tribute to the Thai owner who treated the Leicester fans very well and invested in the football club.

@ChicagoBlue I think if Leicester decide they don’t want to play on Tuesday they shouldn’t have to. It could be moved out of respect !
Absolutely agree wholeheartedly. I’m sure it has shaken people AT LEICESTER. You have made my point very succinctly. This is a private, family matter, and as the owner of that club, I’m sure the last thing on their minds today is football.

i dont think the fact the helicopter took off from the stadium has any bearing whatsoever, they are a safe vehicle like a plane which lands next to an airport with thousands in the terminal, from whet i hear the helicopter had rear rotor problems which would explain the spinning reports from eye witnesses
You do get what is known as LTE (loss of tail-rotar effectiveness) mainly caused by wind direction to the left side or rear of the helicopter, which when it hits the main rotar causes a current of dirty air which passes back and hits the tail-rotar, causing it to yaw. It is extremely dangerous lifting off within a stadium. It is recommended to rise slowly and keep stabilising the aircraft with yaw on the rudder. A sudden gust of wind of between 8-12kts from the left can send the aircraft into a spin. It’s a tragic loss for all on board and sympathies to all concerned.

It will be my me, as we won it in 2014.

Leicester City statement

"It is with the deepest regret and a collective broken heart that we confirm our Chairman, Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha, was among those to have tragically lost their lives on Saturday evening when a helicopter carrying him and four other people crashed outside King Power Stadium. None of the five people on-board survived.”

Seriously?

Maybe if people just read and understood what was written, in context, they wouldn’t go off half cocked? Maybe...but I doubt it! After all, where is the fun in that?!

Completely agree with your posts which were quite profound for a football forum.
I bet some of the posters who took issue with your comments haven't fully read them let alone understood.

I agreed with what you said. I can understand others are in the "grief loop" (those that are not directly affected, but are angered by anyone that doesn't simply respond RIP etc) too, which is why you get contrasting responses.

It's not dissimilar to the gun argument in some ways after the latest mass shooting. It's always deemed "too soon" to talk about.

What it doesn't do, and I'm assuming this is true (apologies if not), is that you as much as I are deeply saddened and shocked by the crash and sympathise with the families of all involved, the Leicester fans and community.

An awful incident and an incredibly sad loss for football, for LCFC,and for their City/community in general. It would seem Mr Srivaddhanaprabha was a genuine and kind man,who will be very sadly missed.

I use the term in its most loosest form.....but if there is one 'positive'...... thankfully the victim count isn't higher, and as bad as this tragedy is,it really could have been so much worse.

My deepest sympathies to all five of the families affected.

R.I.P.
