Thing is pal. You say something in jest on here and some people genuinely think you're not on a wind up. And have you still got your Grolsh tops in your shoes ?I know.... Bros were far better than Zeppelin.
Calm your skin brother; -) I was being sardonic :)wtf!!!
There wasn’t a Hard Rock in Manchester in 1972.
They are in my Bros tribute shrine along with Craig Logan who no one has seen since 1989 ;-)Thing is pal. You say something in jest on here and some people genuinely think you're not on a wind up. And have you still got your Grolsh tops in your shoes ?
Nice. Never saw the man himself but I played a gig in Ireland with the surviving two in the 80's; Mitch Mitchell and Noel Redding. Both now sadly deceased. Noel used to live in my hometown and was a great friend.Nope, but I was at the Jimi Hendrix Experience gig on 7 Jan 1967. A night of extraordinary music I shall never forget.
Anyone else on here seen them live, and what are your memories?
(I'm talking about the original foursome with Bonzo, not Page/Plant etc)
I went to the last nights gig at Earls Court in May '75 and both Knebworths in August 1979.
I watched Status Quo that night at Belle VueEarls Court May 1975. Same day (Saturday) that England beat Scotland 5-1. Tickets at £1.50 each.
Started at 8:00pm, finished 11:45pm. Deaf for 2 days afterwards!

I seem to remember Francis Rossi bringing on an England shirt with 7 on the back, which was Keegan’sSnap squirty. I watched Quo at The Kings Hall on the Saturday 24th, and travelled down to London to see Zep on the 25th.

Not a normal fan but one of them super fans. The ones who stalk houses, queue for 2 days to get to the front and wet themselves at the very mention of their heroes. Sort of like a 12 year old girl. But a man. A fully grown man.
I might mention the Led Zep 2 album I have with their signatures on it that my old man got in the 70's but I won't for fear of explosion.
I won't. Thanks for the heads up though.Don't get me started On Barclay James Harvest :)
