Louth in North Lincolnshire. Probably a nice county town once but now one which time (and austerity) have sadly left behind. And it’s only a short drive to Mablethorpe and then on to Skegness. You don’t get a much more depressing trio than that !
Not a town but Wembley. It’s a shity place in London that we're always bloody going to. The main scary bits last night were the thought of our players injuring themselves on the less than perfect surface, and one or two of our players determined to set up chances for Spurs. Sad to hear that. I was in Louth with a couple of mates for a few weeks in the summer of 97. Thought it was lovely round there. The locals were great with us too. Even considered trying to get a job at a quarry and staying, But then, I'm from Heywood so everywhere is pretty nice and beats working at Argos or Index.Louth in North Lincolnshire. Everybody I've ever met from Ashton-in-Makerfield stank of shite as well and had about 3 teeth between the full family.
