Personally I think is already a bargain, just for what it would cost us to get someone in as his replacement. His fee is peanuts now compared to what the market wants for players who make less of an impact.

They did. It’s why the figure of £49 million as his transfer fee is oft quoted, even though that’s the figure that includes the potential add-ons, to the incremental tune of five million quid.
