No because he is young and getting better not to mention home grown,i'm sure we have enough money in our war chest to replace sergio, gabby might yet be that man,he has 2 seasons to prove he can lead the team and score the goals on a consistant basisJust a hypothesis on my part, but can't imagine the board aren't thinking already the amount it is going to take to replace Sergio for the next five years.
It's going to take £150m-£200m large.
Considering Sterling's present value and other players we currently have on our roster, wiggle room might perhaps have to come from somewhere.
We are practically neutral on spend this summer and that Sergio successor, along with the defensive midfield replacement is the only real things this young squad needs.
So my question is, is Sterling a sacrifice worth making if it secures a Kane, Mbappe or Neymar?

I agree that now he plays like a secondary striker ,i wonder if he could ever lead the line, time will tellEven if Jesus makes that jump, we would still need to make an additional striker signing.
I also seriously doubt we would be able to lay out £150m plus on one player without bringing in money from somewhere.
I am a huge Jesus fan but IMO he is a secondary striker, a foil, just as he is for Brazil.
He certainly has the talent to be whatever he wants to be.
Do you honestly believe he would get in Real Madrid or PSG's starting eleven? Everything is perfect for him at City, the players around him, the system and a manager who believes in him.Paris, Madrid? That's about it really. Maybe if Mbappe or the diving Brazilian leave psg
It's not alk about that with players, it's partially about them maximising their income and if he gets a better financial deal offered, there's the risk he would leave.Do you honestly believe he would get in Real Madrid or PSG's starting eleven?
