To be fair I think United just abide by what they came out with after the the 6-1 and when Chelsea beat them 4-0, once you're 2-0 or 3-1 in the lead the game is over and there's really no need to go and score another 3 to embarrass an already beaten side. It has to do with respect.

Ferguson & Wenger were supposed to ‘respect’ each other. Yet United tried their hardest to embarrass Arsenal and did 8-2. Arsenal were decimated by injury and down to 10 men.

Possibly in the past he would have enjoyed rubbing teams' noses in a big scoreline but he seems to have mellowed out and just wants a professional single goal win.

Ok I know City won 6-0 but the scoreline didn't reflect the match. Fernadinho should have been booked after 5 minutes for a cynical block an Alexis, that alone would have altered the way he played and he definatley should have been sent off in the 60th minute as I had placed a bet on it. The second goal was a mis -kick by Sterling and it was the only time he got out of Luke Shaws back pocket the third goal was offside. They only scored another 3 because Paul was sent off for an innocous challenge with both his feet on Ageuro. All you posters that are laughing at United fans are childish and worse than they have ever been.
