If the winger is in miles of space and the midfielders/full backs aren't switched on, I'd be looking to block the line of that pass instead of bothering to mark the winger.
 
All this talk about hoping the Rags win is making my skin crawl, I understand the sentiment but at least follow your wishes up with the mandatory bile driven, festering hatred, borne of 38 year banners and decades of suffering.
I expect each and every one of you to vomit up your collective spleens after each and every statement of support for that festering sewer of a football club.
I fully relate to the reasons, but please fellers, stick to the rules.

Walker seems to have lost his pace. Wonder if he is carrying an injury? Great 3 points today to put the pressure on the rest. Jesus brilliant, not just the goals but his overall performance. He never stopped making runs and his link up play so good. KDB is back and will improve us. Good day.
 
Glad for Jesus let’s hope that gives his confidence a boost. 2 great goals.

Some sloppy play in defence in the 2nd half and I saw pep going mad at them a few times.

A win's a win. Average performance - don't think Pep or Marco Silva will be happy about the defending today. Dire atmosphere and a worrying number of empty seats. To win 3-1 is encouraging playing way below our usual levels. Great to see Jesus get a brace today.

Sat through the first half and got piss wet through( I'm towards front) We should of put it to bed in that half. Had to watch the 2nd half from concourse so only got a idea what was going on. What I did see is them miss 3 guilt edged chances (to add to the one in first half) Walker looks a pale shadow of himself(Thanks camel gob) and when you take Stones out, we suddenly look very deceptable to counter attacks. But the guys who went forward played very well, Sane was his usual effective self, Bernardo again was everywhere and Jesus magnificent! Today was all about 3 points which we got. We will get better when the big hitters come back but 3 points was what today was about. Also had a few quid on Jesus 3-1 which made it a Ickle bit better. CTID

Well that was a cold one! Really pleased for Gabby and thought Gundogan had a good game, especially when he was playing around the left with Sane. Speaking of Sane, what a player and prospect he is. DELIGHTED to see KDB back, I love him!

24 hours? Fuck that, they're getting cheered on from 4pm until 5:50pm and before and after that they can fuck right off. In fact, I might set the alarm and get up early tomorrow to make sure I get a full days hatred and contempt in.
 
Poorest home performance of the season imo but 3 points is 3 points so that’ll do for me.

Fair fucks to Jesus. He’s worked his bollocks off through this spell of nothing going his way. Excellent attitude and one Pep will admire. Chuffed to see him back amongst the goals today.

Yep, totally agree. Since when is a 3-1 home against Everton not pretty?

Are we seriously going to only be effusive with praise when we score five or six now?
