Everton (H) Post Match Thread

It's funny, if Gundogan puts a foot wrong he gets eviscerated on here. Yet somehow Walker gets away with being consistently our worst player. Everytime he touches the ball my asshole puckers. I cant be the only one who thinks hes not nearly good enough?

I'd like to see Danilo get a stretch of games for once.
I agree. Gundogan was super today. As for Walker he needs to work a bit harder on doing the simple things. He does not look confident in possession and has suddenly lost sense of where he should be. Hard work is needed and a return to the standards he set last season. He surprised me last year and hopefully the work will be done. Perhaps when Danilo is fit he will be given some gas time. I believe Walker will be fine.

You need to see a doc about that puckering. I think you’re being a little hypercritical if Walker.

Troubled at times by them but for me that was a decent enough performance & a good win. Great to see Jesus looking so good & he would have scored a couple more if the service to him didn't drop off second half.

Next season - Mahrez to settle in properly, Gundo to be more positive, LaPorte and Eddy to be nearly (but obviously not quite) as good as their Scouse oppos, Jesus to score every week, Mendy to stay fit - we might be in with a shout. Things are looking up!

We always make hard work of Everton at home. The first win at home in the league against them for 4 seasons!
Good to see Jesus play so well. He clearly just needed games. Sane is on fire and will put any team outside the top 5 to the sword. Gundogan stepped up to the plate as well which was nice to see.
The pressing game isnt the best without David (they managed to break the press more frequently than most) and the defence is indeed a tad worrying at the moment, but there you go. That's Typical City these days.
Nice to see Kev get 15 mins.

Horseshit.

Did you watch the game?

yes I did. please rewatch the games from the start of season. there is a clear difference from the start of the season. time and again teams these days are playing the ball easily into the middle and getting at our back four. Maybe its pep tactics to not press high or the other managers have figured it out. whatever it needs work because currently we are conceding much more clear chances that the beginning of the season.

Not true at all. Even the Everton player said we were brilliant at it.

not good enough compared to the start of the season or to win against better opponents in CL.
