Yep, when the balls weighed a ton and came at you at 4mph.Anyone else remember when it was routine for keepers to dive full stretch and catch the ball

Yeah that save was world class. Doubt anyone will make a much better save all season, except for Allison that does saves like that every game.
Re-defined goal keeping. He is world class and the future of goalkeeping.
That’s what I was alluding to. ;-)Re-defined goal keeping.

Tubby Morton in my day. Although Billy the fish at Fulchester gave him a run for his money. What was the name of the goalie in Roys legendary team?
He’s had a few poor performances (Liverpool away last season comes to mind) but they are all far in the past in my opinion, during his bedding in period. He has developed in to the next generation, world class keeper. He is revolutionising (along with Pep, of course) what people understand the keeping role to be (and/or what is possible).Don’t think he ever has a bad game. His passing isn’t normal for a keeper.

It was an amazing ball yeah. Can’t beleive I heard people moaning that he can’t save penalties yesterday. Believe an attacker has to score from a penalty it’s your best chance of a goal.
But that ping about 10 mins before end straight onto Mahrez’s foot was a thing of beauty
