Away tickets

So just an opinion that the SC have taken up the tickets for Newcastle then?

I didn't say they had taken up the tickets for Newcastle, what I said was that they have coaches to fill to keep prices down so they actively encourage members of their branch to go. There are still plenty of tickets available and a lot of the people slagging off SC's and blaming them for getting tickets have an opportunity to attend this and many other matches. I cannot see why the SC's get such a bad press, they have been around for decades, encouraging Blues to attend in the good and bad times and it is in just the last few years we have been selling out and 'we' need someone to blame.

My opinion was always that, I never said it was anything else. I stated I was not a member of a SC so I can hardly be the font of all knowledge when it comes to how they are run.

When you put it like that then yes, I suppose it is too precise.

That'll be 22 people who are either SC holders with a lot of points, tunnel club or other corporate who are safe in the knowledge they'll get a ticket at the time

It's a business for them, with margins increased since the £30 limit came in

In Paris in the ground got talking to a French City fan loved the club and hoped one day to come to England to watch us!!!
I asked how he had got a ticket in our end and a wrist band as the club don’t know you exist? Oh he says “I’m a friend of Kevin Parker”

And this the guy who runs the supporters clubs. As if proof were needed

@prestwichblue

Can this incident be raised at your next meeting?

We are going to differ on this mate.

It's not just the Supporters club either, 40% of all away tickets are getting creamed off by Corporate, OSC's and 5% internal.

I just think that only 60% left for the rest of the seasoncard holders is a pisstake.

Agreed - this is the core of my beef, not the loyalty points system.
And I am pretty sure (not concrete) that the percentage has come down over the last three years markedly.

Got me thinking my first ever match ticket probably the 6th round home cup game v Everton 1966 sell out 63,000,in the old 2nd division in the early to mid 60s and always payed on the gate home and away.

No text about the sale but did receive the text telling me they were going to text 'when away tickets were due to go on sale'.

So are they going to text me at 9am on Wednesday morning when they go on sale? if so that is stupid.

But it is City ticket office :)

I saw the last half hour of Utd vs Arse and how fooking ancient were the rags fans. Besides a couple of youngsters, they make our following look like an 18-30 party. If that’s what a ballot system gets you then fook that!

On the subject of aways what about Shalke.
We got 2700 and it sold out in three days.
Speaking to a lot of people yesterday who are regulars at Euro aways they are without tickets.
I smell a bit of a rat here and wonder how many the Club have creamed off.
I will say it again there is a need for transparency and we should be told how many actually go on sale to Supporters
not in SC/Corporates/Sponsers.

You mean the information PB shared on the City Matters thread?

Sold out on 15500 points. No rat to be smelt really

Regular Euro away dayers will miss out because most tend to go down to all season ticket holders. Group stage games don't have the same pull as a knockout game with so many different cheap routes to get there.

Stubhub and Livefootball already selling tickets in the City end.
Stubhub have even got 4 seats in the City seating allocation for sale.
Wonder where these came from ? will the Club investigate. Will they F
