Loyalty points were introduced in 2002 possibly 2001, but Platinum definitely started for the 2011/12 season so maybe brought in because of FFP?
Has Dianne Abbott replaced PB?

You would think the person representing seasoncard holders in ‘city matters’ would know these trivial facts!!!Has Dianne Abbott replaced PB?
Platinum was, I'd say, just a money making scheme when we were desperately short of cash. In the early days it would have contributed about 5% to our matchday income stream and maybe 2% to our overall revenue. Now it's 1% and 0.1% respectively.
Just checked and you're right. But it probably brought in less than £1m a year when we were losing nearly £100m in 2012 so I doubt it had anything to do with FFP! Particularly as we now know we were padding all the sponsorship deals from Abu Dhabi.Loyalty points were introduced in 2002 possibly 2001, but Platinum definitely started for the 2011/12 season so maybe brought in because of FFP?

With interestHow about the club refunding all the Platinum money and reverting points back to the same as if on Gold!!
Clearly you are not a seasoncard holder or even know how it works.I’m not being funny it’s not physically possible for young people to ever legitimately get away tickets. Say the average fan starts at 10 and gets 300 points a season (generous).
300 x 20 = 6,000 points
So after watching every city premier league home game for 20 years they have 6k points.
The average premier league away sells out on about 15,000 points.
So after 50 years being a season ticket holder (at the age of 60) they have the points to go to some games.
No wonder our away atmosphere is getting worse; they’re ancient.
My dad’s been dead 9 years and has twice your points. You’ve actually been going for 11 years, he went for 10 and only did a couple of away games a season? Go figure.Im 16. Ive had a gold season ticket for 9 years (since 07-08) that's 190 points/season + cup games - total = 2915 points. At what age am I gonna be able to buy away tickets from the club?
My dads loyalty in the 80s has been rewarded with around 7000 points.
The average game sells out at 12,000 and above
tell me why balloting a small number of tickets for non top 4 games is not a good idea.
Something not right with his adding upI was asking which games the poster was thinking of.
Re your points, if you'd been on the Cup Schemes and gone Platinum and gone to a few away games then you'd be on over 12,000 points.... Why do you feel you should queue jump?
