Away tickets

Points aren’t awarded for away matches? How is that going to help, am I missing something?

All you have to do is go platinum and join all the cup schemes and nobody can better your points total (except superbia and hospitality) ??

As i have said before there is some open & honest conversation around away tickets & the allocation on here & an awful lot of time replying by P.B to the many questions & opinions. With the information provided so for that I deem to be correct, If qualification criteria stays as it is until the end of this season then if we get to a champions league final on announcement of tickets to the club i should be able to work out roughly who qualifies points wise. This is only based on my own and the lads points.I think i am right in saying a 16000 allocation for a champions league final should give season card holders an allocation of 9600.I wait with bated breath!!!!

But I still ask the question who decides & how is it decided how many of those precious tickets go to which branches of the Supporters Club? Is that a fair allocation or just random as to which branches are in favour?

I ask not as a SC member, although I am one, but as a season card holder who applies for (& 99% of the time gets) her own away tickets.

the notion that "loyalty points" are added for home games is just laughable, the facebook site gets absolutely slaughtered on here for away games, yet for home games season tickets are passed about like confetti on there, so people will in effect get their points even easier than before.

can I just break off from the debate itself to say what a stirling job PB is doing. must take a hell of a lot of his time.

thanks Colin.
As stated earlier it is a thankless task and I admire him for taking the role on and for at least answering some of the questions put to him on here

I have sometimes wondered if there was a link between the proportion of the OSC allocation that a branch receives and the presence of a branch member on the OSC Exec. Committee. Confirmation or otherwise of this would be helpful.

This is why their is no need for any tickets to go to the supporters clubs anymore
We have a loyalty points system that will cater for them if they meet the criteria
Colin talks about the need for the loyalty scheme to be updated but surely that must also apply to the outdated supporters clubs scheme.
I just want fairness across the board, if we don't do something now, tickets will become harder to get for the normal fan

Its no harder now than it was back when i had 2k points . You got to the games you could.

If I have read it correctly then if I don’t attend a home game for whatever reason I will no longer be awarded the points on my SC ?
If I put it on the exchange and it sells i receive 1/19th of the cost of my SC ,I’m not awarded the points they go to the person who buys it and for that privilege I have to wait at least 45 days for payment.
If I post it on one of the fb sites I could get more than 1/19th of the cost as a lot sell for the equivalent match day price(which I don’t agree with) I won’t have to wait at least 45 days for payment and I WILL still get the points on my SC .
Something wrong with that !!

100% correct from how it reads, cannot see the official exchange site getting many customers.

Totally agree. They shouldn’t get any at all

They should qualify for tickets like anybody else
I remember when i was chairman of a supporters club .we could get as many away tickets as we wanted for most games as we didnt always sell our allocation.many a time i and other supporters clubs chairmen and secratarys would get a phone call to see if we could shift some more.
Remember early kick off against Newcastle fa cup in the mid 90s i was getting phone calls all week to see if i could get rid of any more[/QUOTE]

Bill, it is harder to get tickets for matches now .
Maybe not for you or me who have done the games in the past
7 to 10 years ago you did not have the corporate demand we have now that is taking 450 tickets per match out of allocation
