Just out of curiosity, has anybody actually changed their opinion, based on something that they've read on here, that might contradict their own viewpoint.

Not sure what you mean by credible evidence on a forum but believe me (or don't) they exist.
Your last point is a good one, I think most people just look at it from a selfish point of view.

Do you honestly think Its fair that OSC's get let's say 800 out of a 4000 allocation?

Yes I do, if your figures are correct it hasn't stopped anyone going to Newcastle next week and many many more. This thread only comes alive when we play Liverpool, the Rags etc. It doesn't get one post when we play Southampton. IIRC the league Cup semi final (away) last year, Bristol, a week night, in Winter and on tele. That went to open sale and I am not sure it sold out, (I may be wrong). The supporters clubs were there though, in numbers. The first way to start easing the issue is ask the club to stop Platinum but when I mentioned it earlier there was hardly a response. The other problem is the face book sites (and even here) where they are sold on - not always by people who cannot genuinely attend.

Not sure if you have heard this story or not so apologies if you have.
When we played Celtic in the CL the Mrs and I travelled up on Virgin first class. At the table to our side was a guy who had five tickets AND five wristbands to give out when he got there. I asked him how come he didn’t have to queue like the rest of us. And he said he told Danny Wilson if he thought he was going to queue up after putting all the money he does into the club then he can just fuck off. Then he said he was asked the names of the people getting the tickets to which he replied “how the fuck do I know? I won’t know who’s going till the day of the game?”
So not only didn’t he have to queue for two hours in the rain like the rest of us mugs but, potentially, he had four additional tickets and the wristbands that he could sell on at a profit. Of course they may have gone to his four mates he had invited, they could have been sold at the game

In Paris in the ground got talking to a French City fan loved the club and hoped one day to come to England to watch us!!!
I asked how he had got a ticket in our end and a wrist band as the club don’t know you exist? Oh he says “I’m a friend of Kevin Parker”

I'm not disputing that many supporters occasionally buy a ticket, with no intention of going to the game.

Where I disagree (not necessarily with you) is the general anecdotal assumption that hordes of blues do it on a regular basis, particularly as so many away games go down to low points/open sale

Bristol sold out at 12,000 points, so is that fair that Supporters Clubs took many of the available tickets rather than some of those on less than 12,000?

I did put 'IIRC' perhaps I didn't and I don't know if anyone else can recall but my point still stands. As I say I am not in a supporters branch so have nothing to gain by backing them. I do think they do a brilliant job and personally I think they deserve an allocation.

Under the current system there is nothing wrong with an allocation, but perhaps a much smaller one, and certainly based on the anecdotal evidence on here there are some abuses that are taking place.

We are going to differ on this mate.

It's not just the Supporters club either, 40% of all away tickets are getting creamed off by Corporate, OSC's and 5% internal.

I just think that only 60% left for the rest of the seasoncard holders is a pisstake.

If anyone wants any proof that tickets are going out of the Club en block and being sold at inflated prices look up.
www.celtichorizonstours.com
This is a company based in Ireland that sells blocks of tickets for City and other games.
Then ask yourself how come they can get four together. Did four City fans just decide not to go. I don't think so.
There only one place these tickets could come from.
