Two episodes into Black Lake and so far it's a bit shit. Anyone seen it that can advise on whether or not to continue with it?

I would say stick with it. Not brilliant - could have done with being a few episodes shorter in my opinion - but it's passable. Didn't realise it was a prequel to the first series until after I'd watched it.

Just finished luther season 3, so glad the secondary storyline is finished (I hope) almost stopped watching because of overly annoying characters

The writing is terrible on Luther.

I'm surprised to hear that to be honest. For years there has been so much hype around luther and I've avoided it for some reason, but we've binged it over the last week or so and it is good, but definitely overrated.

Marvelous Mrs Maisel - absolutely sensational - very funny.

Recently finished season 1 and we also enjoyed it. She who plays Mrs Maisel was also good in the early stages of House of Cards when it was worth watching.

I was naive to the same thought process, however, I’d ask you to revisit the topic when you’ve watched the first 3 seasons of Gomorrah.... it edges the holy trinity of the sopranos and the wire from the pedestal!

Started watching a series called 'Wayne', it's a Youtube Premium one so you'd probably need to stream it from somewhere as i don't know anyone that has YT Premium, but it's brilliant. It's like the Netflix series 'The end of the F*cking world' but American and with a sniff of cocaine.

I'm up to episode 8 and it's really good, feels like a graphic novel on live screen and the OTT characters are just brilliant. I also read somewhere that some of the writers from Deadpool have been working on it and you can tell.

Yep the character’s and the writing is spot on.
