TV Series

After half an hour of it, I'm finding Baz Lurhman's fantasy world is not working with Hip Hop/ ghetto life.

It's almost like a cross between 'Fame' and his 'Romeo and Juliet' rendition (direction and presentation-wise) and it's fairly distracting to have these thoughts floating around when you're trying to absorb the programme.

I want it to be gritty and so far it's not.

However the lyrics/ poetry outshine the show, so far.

I will give it a touch longer...

Have you heard anything about Atlanta?
Could be promising.

Watched that last night. Almost beat the wife for unnecessary laughing.

I don't mind Statham films. You know what you're going to get. Action, bad acting, cheese, more bad acting and plenty of violence. Perfect for watching with the mrs.
