Humans make mistakes
Don't be too hard on Jadon, there's always next years.
Humans make mistakes
Does he wear black lace shorts?I love the sound of Zagadou - could make a great chant out of that one
I thought he was excellent. 22nd best man on the pitch. In all seriousness i cant judge him on that game but Dortmund were poor and we were excellent
Well I thought he looked very good for his age. His decision making will only get better with experience. He looks just as promising as Raheem did, when he burst through. He looks more comfortable on the ball and easier on the eye than Raheem. Yet it is to be seen whether he can become as explosive and effective.
No point us crying over spilt milk. At this moment in time he is not as good as Leroy, Raheem or Bernardo. His path was blocked with us because of the quality we have in his position. He made the right decision in going and was brave in doing so.
Not just the Rag media some on here have labelled it a great performance. No goals, assists and let Vertonghen waltz past him all 2nd half.
Kids a talent and I'd wager will become a good to great player but the hysteria is Rashford level.
You don’t keep your best young talents by offering them contracts, they need a trust from manager to rely on them like what Dortmund have done with Sancho.
They sold Dembele for +90m.”, got Sancho and gave him #7 shirt and put faith in him to replace Dembele.
Now Dortmund are top of the league and Sancho is their star.
So it’s not Marco Reus, their captain then? You don’t keep your best young talents by offering them contracts, they need a trust from manager to rely on them like what Dortmund have done with Sancho.

And yet the media and papers just want to talk about Jadon Sancho. He plays for Dortmund now.I thought he was excellent. 22nd best man on the pitch. In all seriousness i cant judge him on that game but Dortmund were poor and we were excellent
Are you suggesting that we should have done something similar with Raheem and stick the boy in the first team? You don’t keep your best young talents by offering them contracts, they need a trust from manager to rely on them like what Dortmund have done with Sancho.

Humans make mistakes, as well as Pep & Txiki.

Now Dortmund are out of the Champions League.
If Dortmund phoned Utd or Liverpool & offered them Sancho for 40 mil, they would snap their fucking hands off.
We would too, if it wasn't for the fact we've let him go.
Read my post, 40m for a talent wouldn't be a huge leap, I wasn't questioning his talent.
I was questioning the myth that he had a "great" game and the hysteria on here about him leaving.
I saw a 17 year old playing at Wembley this season in front of 72k and owning a £50m Italian international. He was the best player on either side, first half & Spurs changed their plan, in order to cope.
For an 18 year old kid, playing away from home in the Champs Lg, in front of 75k people, it's fucking tremendous. If he was a City player doing that for England at Wembley, this forum would be going fucking spare with joy about it, but because he left, we have to put our fingers in our ears & sing 'la lal la' to blot out the praise.
It isn't great, at all, that he slipped through our fingers. It might turn out a Ryan Giggs level miss.
We should actually be very concerned by it & try to find a way of stopping it from happening again.
