Jadon Sancho

Any reasoning given as to why he’s controversial?

See below quoted message.

Link? Can't see anything on their website?

I believe it may have been in their printed edition, as I'm judging it off this tweet which appears to have their standard imaging used in print. I'm not sure why he is seen as "controversial" but one of my German mates said it better translates as "future up in the air."

The first tweet says that at times, Sancho is lacking focus and orientation.

The second states that this doesn’t mean that all these players should go or will go, more likely, according to his understanding, is that the players' [futures] are under discussion (for different reasons).

maybe pep was right when saying sancho not ready for first team football at manchester city in the summer and pre-season

i hate youth players that think they are ready for the first team football and ask questions why am not playing because my agent thinks am good enough and others think so too. pogba was the same at united and fergie got him out of the door quick time and look now still thinks he is world class and demands respect just for turning up

when pep talks to you and gives you advise and says your not ready son then your not ready at first team level at any club. going over the top and kicking the toys out of the pram instead of knuckling down just shows that the manager was right. youth football is the base of your football career and all the good points and lessons about the bad points get ironed out and if you knuckle down and hard work then it may just pay off in the long run. there is no short cuts unless your world class and how many of them are in football rare as rocking horse shit comes to mind

Well if they really want to get rid of Guerreiro and Weigl I guess we could make some room...

Agree. In a few weeks time, Foden and Diaz will likely have medals in their cabinet, maybe other young players will, too. It's all very well being the focus of BBC interviews and the exotic centre of attention for the tabloids, but that won't be the case next season, so he'll have to start developing.

i think it may be to late for jadon-Sancho and going to germany has backed fired and like you said Foden and Diaz have had a full season with the first team squad and understands more about what it takes to get team football and without pressure. Sancho took the gamble and the big money move and now the club wants more for there investment in him and sadly i don't think he knows what it truly means because people have been giving him the wrong advise about the level he is at

agents at youth football is the big scare for me its like pimping ??? players at a young age are easy lead into thinking the games is so easy and having a good agent is key. but there is no fast tract at youth level. development is and always will be key and having a great manager like pep talking to you and saying not just yet is worth more than money. pep knows if your good enough money will come in time and why add pressure to your game at such a young age

jadon-Sancho will be a name of the past and football will be hard for him to settle and fined his feet and a good club. i hope am wrong but many good youth players have gone down that road at city and never to be heard of again and end up out of the game or non league football and have to try to start all over again and there is always somebody else thinking am going to have you and has got more fight because big football clubs told him sorry son your not good enough and he has the fight to prove them wrong

so jadon-Sancho go on son prove me wrong and i will be the first to hold my hands up and say am wrong

Irrespective of his good game today, the idea that his move is already a failure is completely ridiculous. The guy is 18 and starting league games for Dortmund, a team renowned for producing top talent. He's looking good and will play even more next season. Also, "big money"?? No one moves from City to Dortmund for the paycheck. What are you even talking about?

ya ancoats lol... dortmund was a good choice given his level of talent. he should have the self-confidence to earn his spot on that team sheet in a couple years. can't think of a club that would've been a better choice for him.
