2019 Summer Window - Whom do we Need ? - Whom will we Sign?

We certainly need a DM - not going to say who but I’m sure Pep has this in hand.
A LB - probably someone young who can compete with Mendy - not sure we will be paying £50m - more like half of that.
Big call needs to be made on Mahrez. He’s obviously a good player - but he’s really not doing it for us - not only his performances but his whole fit with the squad. Might be worth giving him time to fit in - it often takes time to settle here - there are numerous players who haven’t blossomed until the second season but equally moving him on must be an option if we can get our money back and invest it more productively. Can’t see more than three mainstream additions but probably plenty of young players will be tracked.
We would only get £30 mill tips for mahrez. We might aswell keep him as he is good enough for cover on that side though I think he will want to play 1st team.

No striker? Interesting.
We already have Jesus and Pep's teams always rely heavily on goals from the wingers more so than a traditional striker. Sane and Sterling are more than expected to bag 15-20 goals a season and 20-30 from the striker.

No reason to spend money on a striker this summer.

Think it leaves little margin for error, if Aguero starts to decline over the next 18 months. Means any incumbent in the summer of 2020 would almost certainly need to hit the ground running. Not saying it’s necessarily the wrong approach, but it isn’t without significant risk, especially as Aguero and Jesus could quite conceivably sustain concurrent injuries.

I hear you but I honestly don’t see how we can rotate three strikers. Especially if we see Aguero and Jesus not get injured.
