I couldn’t agree more, he should be starting every game, but not at the expense of Sané.

It’s a hard call, but it should be Bernardo & one of Gundogan, Silva or De Bruyne.

Last night saw our best 4 performers this season all out of their strongest position.

I’m one of Pep’s biggest fans, but I think he’s taking the easy option leaving Sané out.

Sane is one special player & whilst I have been critical in the past for his apparent lack of effort at times, I do feel we will need to accept this is how he is & will never really possess that Vinnie Jones cover every inch of that grass & tackle everything that moves drive & mentality week in week out. Maybe we do get this from him & lose the speed, agility & intelligence he currently possesses.

I think most Blues would like Sane & Sterling starting for a majority of the games & then reverting to Bernie being shoe horned into this position if the two wingers arn't performing rather than vice-versa

When they are both on form they are devastating no doubt.

I agree it does look like Pep 'shoe horn's' Bernie on the right and whilst his touch and possession is normally excellent I feel its wasted on the wing & slows down the play. His skills are better impacted either centrally or just off the striker.

Actually think Sane needs a run of games to show what Pep is missing out on, but I believe Pep puts a lot of emphasis on training sessions before the game & how well players have done. On this theory Gundog must be acing them on a weekly basis :-)

Yeah and I don’t think anyone is disputing that his numbers are great and would merit a start in 19 out of 20 clubs in the PL. But I don’t think he’s consistent in his performances. It feels like he’s either the best player on the pitch or the worst.

Sorry bud that makes no sense. You are saying Bernardo can't play in the same team as Sane. They don't even remotely play in the same position. On ability and current form, Sane should play ahead of Gundogan or David Silva. And arguably KDB also.
 
I don’t know what his & pep’s deal is, but I do not want to lose him. Unless there is some understanding (which there may well be), if this keeps up he will go. Just think he’s on another level.
 
Bernardo & Raheem are playing out of this world at the minute, that's why Leroy cant get a full game right now, and he would say the same himself. But I hope he starts against Chelsea, Pep could give Bernardo a rest for West Ham. And im sure Leroy will sign his new contract, so for all the flappers on here, don't worry.

By current form, do you mean he scored a worldy? because I would say recently his form has been a mixed bag
 
He has a talent that is off the scale but he has been a little out of form. ATM, I would have KDB on the bench and move Bernardo into the centre, leaving Raz on the right and Leroy on the left for the final. My three in the midfield would be Bernardo, Fern and Foden. At the back I would have Zin, Laporte, Garcia and Walker with Muric in goal. I think DS and KDB are both below their best and should be eased in. JS should be eased in following injury.

In league games, I would ease KDB/DS/Gundo into Foden's position unless he plays a blinder. JS into Garcia position and Ederson in for Muric.

No doubt they're in great form but they aren't in the same league as Leroy talent wise.

This guy has true game winning ability and is a potential Ballon d'or winner.
