MCFC U-18's

So a one off home tie vs WBA to take us to the Final.
After a few years of high expectations with a golden generation of players we now look to have a fine chance of winning it with a comparatively weaker group of players.

Cheers.something to look out for in the future then, along with his composed central midfield play.
Exciting times ahead.
He takes them all and is excellent with them. The corner for the Garcia goal is typical. He drives them hard and keeps them head height low. Always lookes to score from set pieces that are in range and he also has a great cross on him from open play. He is the real deal

He took all the corners in that Bournemouth match, but most were pretty average. A couple were great (including the one leading to the goal) but he also took a few shockers, including one that was driven hard into the side netting.

Overall he had a really great game, but his corner taking wasn't the best part of it.

Re Doyles corners,if you watched the whole match i,ll take your word for it...but the 3 shown in the highlights above were all top drawer,imo...each of them different, and placed accurately, onto a City players head, leading to a goal, and two goal bound headers which were saved,at point blank,on the line.
Thats quality corner taking in my book, and bodes well for the future. To be able to vary the delivery of your corners,to such a degree,at that age, shows real talent.
Also the lofted pass out to the left wing on1.09 of the video highlights was superb...absolutely inch perfect, showing both great vision and technique, right down to leaning back slightly as he connected to ensure the ball gained height to take out about 3 Bournemouth defenders.
Promising.

The U18s lost 4-2 today. Taylor Richards and Henri Ogunby with the goals. Nice to see Ohio and Burns with the U18s

Excellent tonight against a good WBA. A couple of crazy mistakes gave them 2 chances and one was a goal but overall we dominated . Ben Knight excellent and not just for his 2 goals but so many of them played great. Hopefully the injuries to Knight and McDonald are not serious as they are key players.
