The limited game time situation is obviously not helping in his case. He seems to be very honest about it and wears his heart on his sleeve ..

Yeah, I think his confidence has been hit abit at the minute which is a shame. He’s amazing Leroy and hopefully he’s not got his agents etc in his ear about the lack of playing time recently

Well the season is still very long with a lot of matches ahead. Leroy will be there in spring when the really important games coming up.

Great, great player, except his ability to trap and control is currently lurking around the 'bang-average' zone, which is a bit of a handicap.

We need to get this lad signed onto a long term deal. The most naturally talented player in our squad by a distance, in my opinion.

Game winning performance in Schalke, then still benched for the cup final, hooked yet again v West Ham, no minutes v Bournemouth. Definitely something going on with him and Pep, he's always the first player to get hooked if we are chasing a game. May have something to do with the 'bad faces in training' as Pep puts it. He says players like Zinchenko and Bernardo just get on with the graft and are happy regardless of if they're in or out of the team. Leroy seems extremely laid back, just hope he doesn't have a smacked arse attitude that could cost him being a part of such a great team.

He’s a mardy twat. He’s got the potential, but if the best manager at improving players can’t change his attitude, I don’t think anybody will. With two years left on his deal, I can see the situation becoming a bit frosty soon, if it already isn’t.

How many times does Pep talk about the 'sad faces' when he makes decisions.

Then look at Leroy when he's subbed or sat on the bench. Not hard to work out who that's aimed at.

Needs to improve his attitude to be a top player. Talent is there in abundance.

Massive fan of his but his ability alone won't make it at City under this manager.

Teams are playing with 11 men behind the ball, he has no room to use his strengths so Pep has to choose different players unfortunately. I would start him against Watford to rest Sterling/Bernardo then give him 90mins v Schalke and then the full 90 v Swansea.

Take your points about Leroy but there will no resting against Watford after a 7 day break. Watford is probably the biggest game of the 3 we have coming up before the international break. Sterling and Bernado will both start but due to Kev's injury it's probably out of Mahrez and Sane for who gets the spare place in the team.

Potentially, we could see Bernardo back into KDB's role so Sterling back out to RW and Sane on the left perhaps. Mahrez perhaps deserves a start after a winning goal and it can't be any worse than WestHam for him.

Yeah, makes you wonder is this why Low didnt want him in the German squad ?
If his attitude doesnt change I suspect he wont be here long term.

I don't think there is anything wrong with Sane's attitude. Sure, he is not all smiles all the time like Bernado. But that's not s requirement. I like players who aren't happy when they are not picked. It means they take their game seriously.

Simply put, he just isn't as good as Sterling or Bernado at present, so it's no surprise he isn't making the 11. Look forward to his form ticking up and him getting more time.

He's a wonderful player and I love him in our team. Can't comment on his attitude. The only thing that made me uncomfortable was last season, when there were lots of comments about how close he (and Raz? Can't remember) seemed to be to Yaya last year. Who was poison.

He was all smiles in the training photos released a couple of days ago. Nothing wrong with the lad a real class performer who we should all get behind because at any given time he can change a game.
