They could still win it as we do have some tricky games coming up. Our squad has been stretched to breaking point with injuries and our extra games. They have had a couple of injuries but not to their vital players. If VVD gets injured for the run in they will suffer. He is their rock and talisman and they would lose heart without him.

Supercity88 made a comment about the European Cup. I never made any comments about how many times we have won it I simply asked him a question on his comment. Simply changing the name does not make it any different. Liverpool have won 18 top flight league titles. How many have you won. ?

I do remember a couple of leagues and the odd European Cup when it was easy of course not like it is today. In 77 I recall we had a bye into the final that year, good match though in Rome. And if my IQ is 57 I have a sneaking feeling yours may be just a tad lower.

History is for yesterday's men. All that matters is the next/current trophy challenge.
1970's/80's has no fucking bearing on anything, especially with the modern game as it is.
Don't forget you can't pass back to the goalie, for one.

Except it was a completely different competition. Less teams, many of whom were Champions of very weak leagues. Others were Champions last year, but had dropped in form this year, etc. Ergo much easier to win. Yes you won the CL in 2005, but benefiting from a major slice of luck against Chelsea.

Here's a tip. If you go onto another club's forum, you're not going to last very long asking questions like "how many times have you won xxx". You can fuck off back to Rawk. If you want to talk Football, then you're more than welcome here.

Why don't you explain exactly what you get from coming onto a City fans forum apart from the obvious wind ups.

Which ironically the last time they win the title was the final season that was allowed if I remember correctly.

Easier I did not say. I was replying to an earlier person who had posted that the European Cup was easier in the past. I never said easier.
