I'm starting to get a bit browned off with the two regional newspapers having this tit for tat battle re us and Liverpool. It's like they're on a childish point scoring mission, printing puerile shite on each others teams. It needs to stop before the nastiness between both sets of fans does really get out of hand.

love this club and the bond was built in the old days of going knowing your just turning up for the love and not glory

maybe i am a old fool or fart but don't see eye to eye with everything new at our club and sometimes pep does not give the right message across when saying some stuff about manchester city and europe, but he knows better than me and if he see's it as our weakness in europe with being out of it for so many years then ok, but we will be over 10 years in europe and 7 or 8 years of champions league football so why does manchester city still struggle ???

but if liverpool or united and to a point chelsea all have a fully paid up membership with uefa then why does that give them the right to win the competition over manchester city, history has never won a football game you have to go out and win it in a fair way, but uefa don't do fair play and look after their so called members and clubs like city and PSG they want to show us who is boss and will bend over backwards when one of them call foul play against manchester city and our muscle and money

Agree, those Italian ultra bastards are really to be avoided if at all possible. Don't care for the football or level of difficulty as I think we could easily beat them over 2 legs, but really wouldn't want a repeat of the Sean Cox situation for one of our fans. I can't believe UEFA/FIFA or the powers that be aren't harder on clubs about that. Gotta be hard if you wanna deter this type of stuff from carrying on. Hooliganism has to stop. New money. I feel that there has been a gradual shift in perception with the British media in our favour, (others may disagree). It will take a lot longer to convert UEFA. As regards our on field performances, I think that we will gradually start to display more arrogance in terms of "You have to beat us because we know we are that good"
I have been a City supporter for over 50 years now and this is a great time to be a blue. Different for sure but I am very happy with where we are and are going.

Mate, I go back to the old days like you.

You have to understand that all Pep’s comments about the champions league are expectation management. It is the holy grail for this club. It is what the sheikh wants and hence it is what he targets every employee from Khaldoon down with. It is THE reason Pep is here and it is the biggest challenge of Pep’s life.

But the minute he admits that, then it becomes a stick to beat the whole club with. As soon as we are knocked out his words are used to portray his as a failure, So he plays it down. He manages expectations. The whole club do. But rest assured, Pep and Khaldoon and Txiki and all of them are focussed on the Champions League. Think about the old guard Silva, Kompany and Aguero too. They know that the time is now.

We are the best team in Europe and everyone at the club knows that we are ready to win the big one. They just don’t want to say it and have the press wankers all over them about it.

Fawning over Van Dijk's performance.

I'm sorry but he was nowhere to be found on the Bayern goal and then completely lost Lewandowski who was a fraction away on a cross. The only reason he didn't score?

Matip, who played an absolute blinder and without his performance they'd have conceded at least one more. He'd absolutely no shot on the OG, but at least he was there, as Van Dijk was in no mans land when it came in. Had he not been there, it was a goal anyway. Other than that unfortunate incident he was immense for them.

But the scouse don't like him and therefore he gets zero credit until he messes up so they can boo boy him out of the club.

So much for YNWA again eh.
 
What I want to know is when are they going to pick up some injuries to their big players? They’ve been lucky bastards so far.

Anyone saying Henderson needs banning.

I'd put it down to one of Bayern's poorest home performances. While it was a superb goal Mane scored, the keeper had a complete brain fart to gift him the chance.
