Yep, that would be fine.

Would have us playing catch-up but that original Palace date is also the day Liverpool play Chelsea at home? There are potential boosters to morale right there, especially, needing to raise ourselves for the Palace game the following weekend.
 
If I'm being honest, I really don't like the Spurs matchup. The idea of playing them 2ice in 4 days annoy me. It just changes how teams react to each other.

Anyway, hopefully we win the first leg. Coz I think that's the key game.

If Brighton win their FA Cup quarter-final match on Sunday 17th March we shall play Crystal Palace on Wednesday 3rd April and Brighton on 23rd/24th April.

If Brighton lose their FA Cup quarter-final match on Sunday 17th March we shall play Brighton on 6th/7th April (subject to Champions League scheduling) and Crystal Palace on 23rd/24th April.

So does that mean we will definetly be on the Saturday if we get to the fa cup semi?
What day do the rags play their game against barca. If they are the Tuesday too we will have a problem if we both get to the semi and don't play each other
 
The best thing about this draw is it almost guarantees Liverpool an extra 4 high intensity fixtures. Our game against Spurs is little more than a 2 legged premier league game without the hassle of travel. In short, although the draw does not guarantee we will the Champions League I feel it will certainly assist us in retaining the Premier League.
 
Finally calming down now pretty happy with that draw let’s just get through and see who we will be playing next. Be great if Ajax could do a job on Juve if we get through. Either way Loserpool will be in the Semi final and that helps us in the league also.

Or you could argue a Barca v Juve one, ie Messi v Ronaldo.

Lets take one game at a time.

I can see where you are coming from but Liverpool beating Barca over two legs during a title run-in?

Nope, I think Barca would probably get the job done at home if Messi plays.

Given the Cl dates is set in stone, I would say it's nailed on we would play on that Saturday if we get there. I'd put my house on it.

United play on the Wednesday after the semi final weekend

I am. Hence the 'if we make it' claim. My post was really a statemnt about how I thought Liverpool was the best side in the other bracket. And not some cocky claim that we'd be there.
 
Great draw. Spurs are one of the easier options and Ajax / Juve are preferable to Barca.

Delighted that dippers got the easiest draw, gives them 4 extra games the final two of which will be incredibly tiring for their overstretched limited squad.
