The only difference is that with plastic not being perfectly flat like glass or perspex, is that it's crinkled, making the view even less clear.
The apartment, even if partially seen in daylight hours, could not have been seen at night. That's a fact.

So point one, Where have you heard he was deeply unhappy with his daughter Madeline, Number two, Where have you got the info from that Madeline was a handful?
My initial thoughts remain the same: that she was abducted, and the so-called incriminating evidence provided/generated by the Portuguese police and the dogs were laughable, and the McCanns are innocent of everything other than bad parenting (although not criminally bad parenting). But given some of the other evidence-shy theories being put forward, I'd thought I'd advance some alternative theories of my own.

It could be that the intruder opened the window to look and then used the patio door but the window was used.

If someone calls the McCanns negligent for leaving their kids alone it’s pointless to defend them by saying “they could sort of see the apartment but not all the entries/exits”

As I said it’s not a perfect situation by any means, my point is that they were that close they could see it - hence Gerry suggesting it felt like they were eating in the garden.

It doesn’t matter how many times you say it - they couldn’t see the important bits of the apartment (entrances/exits). Oh I know the two aren't compatible. My point is that he was unhappy for one of two distinct reasons. And the theory entails more than that, it's that they sold her to a paedophile network/hid her in the suitcase because they were dissatisfied with her for one of those two distinct reasons. Granted someone could have come up with that before me but like almost every conspiracy theory on this topic, it's probably bullshit.

I prefer to accept they were negligent, no matter how you dress it up they missed her being taken, someone entered and left the apartment without them noticing.
There is evidence (past cases and witnesses testimony) to confirm paedophiles were operating in the area, previously, at the time Maddie was taken and since.
