They are covering because its dead simple. She got out of the room to look for her mam and dad because she woke up and they werent there so she went looking. They should be held to account for that without doubt, but they didnt harm her in that sense. God only knows what happens to a nipper who is lost and sleepy and that young when out like that, but someone does that much is sure. Otherwise her body would have been found. She has been hidden. Why? There is only explanation for it and that is someone is hiding something. I hope it was as simple as a pissed up ex pat living there hit her in the car while over the limit and concealed it. Something as basic as that. The other explanation as to why they woukd hide her is awful. I hope its the former

I think the evidence says otherwise. The girl died in that room. No question. Overdose. Fall. Who knows. But she passed in that room. Too much evidence for it to be anything else.

Not even a conspiracy imo. It’s pretty obvious.

As a group of people, they should be ashamed for covering it up.

I haven’t followed this case anywhere near as assiduously as others, but I believe I know enough to understand that it isn’t beyond question that she died in that room. It’s quite possible she did, of course, but what irrefutable evidence are you relying upon to make such a claim?

Cadaver dog's may not lie, bt i dont believe they told that maddie fell over the back of a couch!! how did you come to that conclusion? i think the parents know shes dead by the way.

It’s an interesting watch, even if it is 4 hours!

Tbh it’s only reaffirmed my initial belief. Whilst he presents some pretty wild theories he ultimately gets to the same conclusion as I do.

That being she’s dead. Quite a bit before the Thursday as well imo. Not sure how/why but the whole case is just littered with lies, from their perspectives. They are clearly covering and it’s pretty sick that the group of colleagues they were with are covering too.

He's done 4 large movies on it by now and they are all fascinating.

I watched one yesterday where he showed a family member had shared a videos with some very creepy photos of her that were never used until years later.

He was able to work out that the photos were shot on one of other people's apartment balconies and they look proper creepy.

There's a lot the public just don't know about this case, like the family of doctors who refused to go on another holiday with this group after overhearing Gerry McCann and David Payne making sexual references about the kids on their previous holiday, or the fact Gerry McCann was close friends with Gordon Brown's brother, or even the fact that the McCann's spent time during the weeks after her disappearance having lunches and cocktails with a convicted pedo with links to all sorts of people who were caught in the recent scandals. They were also bathing each others kids on the holidays, not something I'd think is very normal. There's also the strange case of Kate using the wrong name when she signed the kids out from creche, and then them moving to frame Robert Murat before he threatened a sky reporter to come clean on something and he was suddenly cleared. Then you can look at the money laundering side of the whole thing, it really does read like fiction.

No matter what happened that poor girl one thing is certain, those parents are absolute scum and like to socialize in some very strange circles.

The dogs for me GD. The apartment was also free of any DNA (more or less), it had clearly been cleaned out prior to investigation. It may not prove it in a court of law, but there is enough in this case that makes it beyond question from my point of view. Non of the testemants make sense (when they eventually gave them), the whole routine of their day from the crèche to the hotel. Lots of people telling lots of lies and that suggests a cover of some type.

I also believe the reaction of the Portuguese police in those really early, initial moments is telling. Some have said they were unprofessional, personally I think they had made a fairly early call that the Mcanns were telling lies. Now that certainly doesn’t excuse the lack of reaction, they should absolutely have followed the book process, but like I said, it’s just another little pointer to me.

Of course I may be completely wrong, but put me on a jury and I’d think these 2 were completely guilty.

I thought the pedo ring was a little far fetched and one of his wilder theories. I guess those who look into conspiracy have to come up with stuff like that, it’s the role, if you know what I mean.

The Mcanns are people who live in the higher class. They’ve always seemed a little cold to me and they certainly socialise in some strange circles.
