Quite a lot being made of Liverpool having a much easier run-in. I think it's overstated. Assuming we beat Cardiff (yes, I know should never assume anything, but let's go with that for now). then the following fixtures are left (grouped by comparable opponents, rather than chronological):
Palace vs City
Southampton vs Liverpool
Liverpool vs Chelsea
City vs Spurs
Burnley vs City
Cardiff vs. Liverpool
Brighton vs City
Newcastle vs Liverpool
City vs Leicester
Liverpool vs Wolves
United vs City
Liverpool vs Huddersfield
The first 5 groups are all comparable. The only clear advantage for the Scousers is the last one. Makes it even clearer that win at the Swamp and we very likely win the title. And given our record there and that we are a better team, no reason we can't come out tops there too.
Finally, there is GD which could come into play if (say) we lose 1 game and Liverpool draw one. Assuming we match Liverpool on GD in the first 5, it is very unlikely they can overhaul our overall GD advantage - would have to beat Huddersfield by 9 clear goals (assuming we win by 1 at the Swamp).
