milan and juventus are getting away with FFP just like the others so called big clubs of europe, debt's should be cleared before any profit are shown ??? but uefa look after them and let them do what they want, but manchester city its a different kettle of fish and spend a £1 and over to FFP ??? manchester city are now clear of any FFP and they still dig around for old news and bring up stuff we have already had fines and squad deductions and even changing the rules again then don't get me started on the officials

UEFA = Corrupt.

Shite competition.

so so many manchester city fans can not be wrong can they ??? and until chelsea and didier drogba outed them at the end of the barca game to million of people watching and called uefa cheats ?? they was the same ?? even arsenal fans question the whole setup and wonder why goals crossed off ???

UEFA = Corrupt ?? just ask Michel Platini why he was made to stand down (corruption) and so many of them are still pissing in the same pot

Well that looks quite damming.
How big a fine do you reckon. Two custard creams and an after eight mint.
Two failures of what we got hammered for. All theyve got so far is made to promise to be good boys in future.
Fuck you UEFA

To be fair, UEFA banned AC Milan from European competition last summer for the upcoming season, only for AC Milan to get it overturned when they took it to CAS. The reason they were banned is that their business model was deemed too risky, which let's face it is exactly the kind of stuff UEFA should be clamping down on the most with regards to FFP instead of punishing clubs with benevolent owners who dare to invest in their own businesses. So I'm finding it difficult to have an issue with UEFA over how they've handled AC Milan in terms of any perceived bias towards them.

The hilarious thing from Milan's point of view is that they were in favour of FFP version 1, skriked when it turned out that it hindered them, got the regs changed to suit clubs with new owners wanting to invest (of which they were one), and then still fucked it up so much that they copped a ban!

Spot on. Couldn't give a fuck about the CL, give me the FA Cup over that any day

sorry, but I don't agree, who the fuck do UEFA think they are? telling business how to run things, surely they should be there to run competitions only. and just who in eufa are the financial geniuses that know whats good for business? platini ?

What I can't understand is the new owner bought the club for £210 million invested heavily of course but MCFC are now the 5th biggest earner in world football and are worth £2.25 billion yet UEFA think that's bad business, any other industry people would say it was financial genius.
Yes. Sheikh Mansour has trebled his money (including all his investment on the club since buying City) and apparently that's bad. That doesn't even include the huge profits he will make with his non football investments in Manchester. We are living in a parallel universe where clubs with huge debts are not affected by FFP and most of our xenophic (and sometimes racist) media continue to see City as the bad guys.

But you are missing the reason for UEFA being involved at all .

Teams such as City and PSG are seen as a threat to the UEFA cosy cartel , and therefore need to be kept in check. It is fuck all to do with being a successful business model.

Oooh you're such a cynic UEFA and cartel it seems such an honest organisation.

the thing is the so called big clubs of europe are running uefa as a governing body ?? members are made up of the clubs board members and will look after they own and self pat each other on the back (its the free masons of football)

uefa should have been dismantled and made to fold when the corruption was found out, and if the president michel platini was top of the iceberg you can bet it was running right through the foundation and we are talking grass roots to board levels it was bent and still is ??? why and how anybody should believe its a clean origination now ?? because somebody took the full blow and blame ?? all it did was move the people up the ladder who was working underneath and working for the cheats in the first place ???

we need somebody at manchester city i.e somebody like pep to call them out and say what is happening to manchester city in europe ?? because its clear to me and many others that manchester city are not playing on a level playing field and up against the odds both on the field and a football club

I’m looking at it from the angle that FFP was (allegedly) brought in to stop clubs over-stretching themselves and jeopardising their existence. FFP2.0 was introduced to enable new owners to do what City were punished for, providing the business plan wasn’t deemed too risky. AC Milan’s was, they were told to come back with a safer one, and they didn’t. In short, they probably tried to wing it on account of being one of the old guard and got fucked off. Tough shit IMO. Especially as they wanted the rules in the first place, then wanted them re-jigged to suit them.

I’ll also add that there are other aspects to FFP that many are unaware of. One in particular will never affect City under our current ownership and that is that UEFA take a very dim view of clubs who don’t settle their bills with other clubs. They’ve banned a fair few clubs for that. You say it’s none of their business but stuff like that does need regulating. What shouldn’t be their business is stopping owners with sound business models investing in their clubs.
