Yes but no....Lost! Are they down?
Looks like seven from safety with three to play
Blyth - one place out of the play off zone - beat top of the table Stockport County today at Edgeley Park!Seven net eight on goal difference.
Three wins needed from three matches, one of which is away against Brackley (3rd), one home to Blyth (8th)
Title 6-pointer next week, County at Chorley, 1pm KO presumably on police instruction.Blyth - one place out of the play off zone - beat top of the table Stockport County today at Edgeley Park!
County remain top as Alty beat 2nd placed Chorley 5-3
Shall we refer to them as SCUM if they survive the impending relegation, payment of debts due etc?
Will David Conn tell us all he was wrong..........
You are Vicky Pollard and I claim my £5Yes but no....
Mathematically no, realistically, yes.
Guiseley & Ashton United drew 1-1 so Guiseley are 7 points ahead with 3 games to go but Guiseley have an 18 goal better difference - so effectively 8 points behind with three games to go..... they have to win all 3 games and pray Guiseley do not pick up 2 points.
And that isn't even taking into consideration that Ashton United (3 points ahead of The Rag Socks and 4 points behind Guiseley) can still jump over the Yorkshire club.
In a nut shell. They are down.
Shall we refer to them as SCUM if they survive the impending relegation, payment of debts due etc?
NO. Scum are that stuff floating on the outskirts of Manchester. FC united are the tide mark on the Tin Bath of time. Will be washed away when a better detergent arrives.Shall we refer to them as SCUM if they survive the impending relegation, payment of debts due etc?
By the beacons of Gondor they are downcan we light the bonfire yet
