It was great and Glen Matlock's version of Pretty Vacant was brilliant.

I didn’t unfortunately. I wasn’t a punk in style but I loved that era for gigs & excitement. Saw loads of bands courtesy of Tony Wilson / Granada / So It Goes. I was a regular at the Electric Circus & then The Factory.

I have seen very little of the rags over the last 4 or 5 games, after reading some of the comments on here i thought it would be worth having a look over at the Caf to see what the fuss was about.

I have to say I am shocked at the negativity over there, have they really been as bad as they are making out? It seems like there are plenty on there who now believe tht he is well out of his depth and think it is only a matter of time before it goes tits up.

I thought all was rosey with the world now that PEG has left and Ole is at the wheel, maybe not.

It was always going to be a fanciful idea that a middling manager from one of Europe's lesser leagues who had already failed spectacularly at his previous shot in the big time would suddenly morph into a top-level managerial genius simply because he once scored an important goal for them and understands the "United DNA".

The fans got carried away with the romance of it all, and Woodward couldn't believe his luck at how much money he could save by appointing a relative novice who the fans all worship.

It made zero sense to give him the permanent gig when they did and they'll regret being so hasty as they revert to mean over the rest of the season.

The fact that this is going to fuck up at least one more season for them is great for the rest of us. Long may it continue!
