I'd love it if someone connected to City got their hands on the banner (which has to be languishing somewhere) moreso if it went on display at the Etihad, to serve as a perpetual reminder of the naked arrogance and utter gracelessness of our neighbours when we were on our upppers - neighbours who wouldn't even exist today if it wasn't for our previous benevolence.

Then again it's united, what do you expect? They are just a small club with a small mentality.

I have answered my own question asked in the post above........... I can't paste the full article from the Evening News but this is a snippet

Mayor announces urgent review of city centre transport to ease Manchester United match-day chaos
“I’m signalling today that we’re going to conduct a number of specific reviews,” he said of the congestion currently crippling the city.
“The first, a review of arrangements for handling night matches at Old Trafford, mid-week matches... working with partners from the highways authorities in the councils, Greater Manchester Police, the club and train operators, transport operators.

Words fail me, apart from those that say 'what happened to working for all the city as elected, working for both clubs who suffer huge problems and planning ahead you useless scouse wanker'

Like all scousers he talks a lot but gets fuck all done.

Do you or anyone else remember when it first appeared? I don't personally. Who were the wankers who made it and took it to the game or was it left there full time even on non match days? I am always surprised that a few of our boys didn't have a quiet word with the half wits responsible for it about it being removed. They had a cheek considering they also went 28 years without winning the title.

Hypocrisy is a word which isn't recognised by the rag lemmings .

I did have a similar thought that it could be seen as a reminder / guilty pleasure for us....

Inherit and change the meaning of it

We don’t count

Wasn't there talk about it going in a museum?

It should be mentioned before each derby game and the players told, "This is the horrible arrogant club we are playing today and epitomises all they stand for. Get out there and crush the fuckers!"
