Wasn't there talk about it going in a museum?
Always said we should have it and display it proudly. 35 Years and we're still here.

There are actually two banners. The first, which had the extra 0, was taken by the FCUM lot who flounced (and it went up in 1999, after their treble and our Gillingham play off - at their highest point and our lowest, they really didn't care about us!).

The pisscan personally intervened to get a replacement banner funded, as testified by that wanker who did their banners (and starred in Blue Moon Rising as the archetypal arrogant rag bastard who said we'd never be better than them). That's the 35 Years banner Mancini tore down and the one they had on permanent display.

Mancini got it from the start-ripped the fucker down and then gave us the 1-6, I'm hoping Pep lets the fuckers have 10!

Anyone hear Richard Ashcroft spouting shite on Talksport this morning. Included such gems as they should go to the Lake District on retreat and have ‘eloquent’ fans tell the players where they were going wrong and what it means to play for United. He suggested Eric pop in of an afternoon and give a training session and finished with saying summat like I’d rather us go down than carry on playing shite football. It was classic and epitomises the type of dickhead fan @malg correctly states follows their club

All the years of drug abuse have caused delirium.

But my point is, apart from being a sycophantic rag, why single them out ? Manchesters commuters are in living hell where every day they face traffic jams and overcrowded trams and he has not said one word. The Raggy team can't get to the ground in time and he makes it a priority ?
Fortunately my cross City centre commute is totally devoid of traffic, but it did my head in a year or so ago so I appreciate it can be very annoying when you lose time every day.

I think Old Trafford has a particular problem at the moment because of the "Manchester and Salford Inner Relief Route improvement works"

From https://www.tfgm.com/travel-updates/regent-road

  • Road works are taking place at the following locations:
    • Junction of Dawson Street, Regent Road, Trinity Way and Water Street
    • Junction of Regent Road and Ordsall Lane (Salford)
    • Junction of Regent Road and Oldfield Road (Salford)
    • Mancunian Way, A56, A5067 roundabout
    • Junction of Trinity Way and Hampson Street
    • Junction of Hampson Street, East Ordsall Lane and Middlewood Street
During the works Regent Road, from Oldfield Road to the Mancunian Way, will be reduced from two lanes to one lane in each direction.

The next phase of work has now begun on the Chester Road/Mancunian Way roundabout. The approaches leading up to the roundabout have been reduced to one lane and the inner lane of the roundabout is closed. These lane restrictions are in place for the remaining duration of the works.
