Why we will win the league!

Particularly after seeing our performance on Sun which was close to a masterclass. Just two errors - Sterling's miss and the wall fuck off (in fairness of an imaginary free kick). What is almost certain is we will have more of the ball and create more chances than all 5 of our remaining opponents. So we take our chances (as we by and large did yesterday) then we are champs in May
'Masterclass'?
Not really mate.
On 80 minutes it was 2-1 and game on.

Been really impressed with the clinical professionalism that City went about this whole quadruple saga.. wont be surprised if they beat Spurs and end up winning all four.. but sometimes, in these cases, when you get really close for something extra ordinary, you will get a seed of doubt in the mind and that can be catastrophic.
Your next two league games are huge but dont see either side Spurs or United troubling you lot, I think your tougher tests are remaining ones..

The beauty of it is nobody knows. We had done the hard yards in 2012 beating the Scum and away to high-flying Newcastle. Leaving the formality of a home game against the team with the worst away record in the division.

Would you rather

1) have 4 matches left that you should win, which might make you champions

2) have 5 matches left which you could win, which WILL make you champions

Definitely 2 for me. We will start every game as strong favourites apart from the rags where we’ll be slight favourites. And I’ve seen enough from them recently to know they’re very beatable and that’s before you consider whether they or the crowd will be fully up for the game
Behave, against the Rags we’ll be “MASSIVE” favourites!

Firstly, 2-1 massively flattered Palace as they had created fuck all and got back in courtesy of a dive that became a free kick from the same ref who gave everything their way. Secondly, it was nervous as a fan, but after they scored, they continued to create nothing - i dont think they even had a shot, let alone one on target. Palace have lost a lot at home, but they are dangerous (as we know) and no other team has come close to dominating them at Selhurst as we did yesterday. Near masterclass it was indeed.

Attempts on goal in Manchester City’s last six Premier League matches: Manchester City: 133 Opponents: 20

@VincentKompany: “Last title, last season, is not the one we should refer to really. We have to win every game. We had six games to play, now five games to play and it was the same type of battle between two teams [against Crystal Palace].”

“What I’d say is that in those times you can trust your team to be better, because everybody prepares well, goes to bed on time, eats well. It’s a priority on everyone’s mind, and that should give confidence rather than nerves.”

Can’t imagine having had the season they’ve had and still having no control over the destiny of the title.

They’re relying on the best ever team this country has ever seen dropping points in matches they are expected to win

Even then they still need to fulfil their half of the deal which isn’t a given

This will be seriously screwing them up. It will be on their minds every second of the day

And if they don’t win it this season, they won’t be winning it next season or for quite a few years after that. It will destroy them

Thanks for posting Karen. Very revealing. He's a quite a guy, our skipper.

Just heard a dipper on talkSPORT say they will win this title AND the next one. I can’t be sure of this one (I am confident we will do it) but am I absolutely sure they won’t follow it up, no way. I do think come what may they will challenge next season, but this is their best chance and to think otherwise is delusional.

And he actually used the “This is our year”.
Unbelievable, ycmiu.

Not in anyway a flapper but I'm a bit concerned this is our 3rd close title race where essentially it's been a coin toss.

66% is a good return, but feel we can make it 3/3.
Good luck filling those seats at the "Emptihad" when the team kills off a large number of their supporters every season with stress.

Comes down to the next 2 league games for me.
Whilst I understand players are not robots we do need to convert more as you your always vulnerable with just a goal advantage.
However I do expect Cardiff and Newcastle to take points off Liverpool.

5 games not 2,it's dangerous to ignore the other 3,1 at a time though, dippers only have to win 4 then hope and i think they will not drop points
