Think that's me done with CL now tbh. I'm cheesed off with the whole thing and have little interest in it.
I didn't know he had suggested that. I am certain most of the football world would like to know exactly how the reviews are done and exactly what the rules are.Was Pep correct when he suggested the broadcaster determines the replays shown to the var judge?
Sometime before yesterday's game. When I was playing, the offside law contained the phrase... ‘seeking to gain an advantage’... in other words coming back from an offside position is not seeking to gain an advantage. Just like Kun last night. When did it change?
Having mixed feelings about VAR. On the one had, I'm glad it's there to get decisions correct, which it did; Lorente's wasn't a hand ball, and Kun was offside. Would rather lose to correct decisions than to the horribly bad ones as we did last season against Liverpool away.
But the way it allows such highs as the Sterling goal to be followed by such desparing lows is a new thing in the game, and not a particularly good thing - least of all for people's health!
Not sure how to fix that though - maybe quicker decisions? No idea. And it runs the risk of muting celebrations as people will be too tentative to go ballistic next time.
Still, I think correct decisions are more important, and VAR seems to help that.
Anyways, before yesterday I said that winning three out of three games of this magnitude, given the stage of the season and our inury list, was a tall order. Two of the three was more realistic. So, we must win this weekend and beat Utd, simple as that.

I'm feeling pretty chipper thank you. What a fucking ride we're on.
Over the last six seasons I've seen us score 528 goals in the Premier League alone. That's 88 a season compared with Liverpool's 76 and United's rather embarrassing 63.
I've seen us amass 492 points an average of 82 a season whilst Liverpool have averaged 73 and the rags a paltry 69.
Even without all the trophies we've won, that is probably the most consistent and entertaining side in Premier League history (which is, as you know, the only history that counts)(unless you're a Liverpool fan in which case it's the 80s).
I am loving it.

Lorente thinks it was handball.
Exactly how I feel. Sadly VAR was there to contact an error by the linesman. In the long run I think that we will benefit more often than we lose out (although Jesus will have to get his act together because the guy seems to spend most of the 90 minutes in an offside position).Having mixed feelings about VAR. After the Pep era in my opinion. And that is not denigrating the man. He`s been brilliant for entertai8nment and domestically but as far as I am concerned we are naive defensively when we come up against the top european sides.Proud of City as we're involved in one of the best matches ever. Yes it will taint Pep's reputation as he hasn't gone pass the QF for 3 years in a row but I'm now optimistic for the league. Establish ourselves as a league leader first and foremost. It's the hardest task!
I have a feeling we'll need to wait until after Aguero/Silva era to win the CL.
It only taints his reputation if you listen to muppets in the media who have won the grand total of fuck all.Proud of City as we're involved in one of the best matches ever. In the last 5 years who have been the most successful team in europe? Many would answer Real Madrid. 4 CLs.It only taints his reputation if you listen to muppets in the media who have won the grand total of fuck all.
