22 points between us and the Rags, if all goes to plan on Wednesday then we are looking at 25 points and they have still to play Chelsea, when you consider the bounce they had when OGS came in it really highlights the gulf in class and vision between the two clubs. My mate who is a rag believes the only way to fund the rebuilding job required would be to sell Pogba and DeGea. The miss management at that club is astonishing.

In all fairness that Romeo keeper they have looks quite steady and Pogba is little more than a show pony.
 
All they care about is social media clicks and big personalities to keep them relevant! Look what Woodwood said about liverpool is shows you dont have to win the league to keep your fan base and revenue high or something to that extent! Top four every year and mega sponsors the glazers be happy.
 
They need someone like Mancini to sort them out.

Someone who will come in and not be afraid to change it after 15 mins. Not be afraid to sell the players, not be afraid to grab there star player by the throat and throw him off the training ground.

Other than that I don't see how they can fix there issues because with Woodward there they simply don't have the people at the club with the capability and the knowhow to rebilled the club correctly. In fact, without a serious change in structure and personel I can only see it getting worse for them.

We have benefited from our chairman starting from scratch and laying the correct foundations.
 
On a serious note, i was looking at our squad and wondering who would we be prepared to release in order to accommodate new signings, for me there are maybe 2 -4 maximum.

Looking at the RAG squad there may be half a dozen who they are desperate to keep other than that I believe they would be open to selling anyone else.
 
Fear not in the Derby blue boys, this will be easier than the time we went and wiped the floor with the moyes team back in 2014, we will be two up in the first twenty minutes, hit the third after half time then manage the game from there, their defence and midfield is utter garbage and not clever enough for the movement we have. They will play kick and chase to the second coming of pele boy wonder Rashford but that’s the only threat
 
the funny thing is they may finish 6th but sky and BT would have shown more of their games than anybody else ??? and they will make more money from being 6th than liverpool or man city ??? so why do they have to be winners when they have every corner covered with modern football about making more money than the rest

I agree completely, they are crying out for a DOF and need to commit to a five year plan, i have said before that all this talk of bringing in 6 or 7 players for the starting 11 is bollocks, you can not build team like this, I suspect they will spend big but not in the right areas.

They could raise maybe £250 million ( If they are very lucky ) by selling Pogba, Lukaku and DeGea.
If i was them I would put Romeo in goal so they could use this £250 million to buy Ban Wissaka, Chillwell as full backs, I'd go for someone like Tielemans in midfield and they could do a lot worse than picking up Vardy to replace Lukaku.

I do wonder if the reason they have stuck with that awful defence is because kids rarely ask for a replica shirt with the name of a centre back on it. As fans, we all look at things from a football perspective. American owners tend to be more focussed on the bottom line.

When Phelan left CCM to join the rent boy at the swamp, they were bottom of the Australian League. Considering the standard out there, that takes some doing.

They signed Limpalot, Bailly & that fullback geezer as well as Luke Shaw, plus the geezers they signed prior to that like that shit Argentinian bloke & Blind.

Imo they have tried & failed to improve defence, like they have in every other area.

Probably get about £80mil each for Pogba and De Gea but why anyone would consider buying Lukaku for anything north of £30mil is beyond me

By the time Jones and Smalling finish their contracts they will have been there 10 years. Look no further as to why they are not doing very well. Also, forget Sanchez, Pogba etc these type short time signings started under Ferguson and Moyes eg buying Van Persie and being ticked up by Rooney and his camp for new deals(twice)
