I’m sure there was a degree of putting a positive spin on things, but when Utd fans were celebrating Solsjkaer’s appointment they should’ve surely noticed that all rival fans were also delighted with the move. Their current malaise is by no means down to him, but it was patently obvious to most observers that he wasn’t the man to get them out of it. God bless Agent Woodward.

I can't say I watch them very much. What is Solksjaer's tactics supposed to be?

They went from fergie's attacking style to Moyes and his defence first approach to van gaal's possession to mourinho's defensive. No idea of what they want

Agent Woodward strikes again!

From the Mail:
Manchester United are ready to offer Mike Phelan the role of technical director.

United hope to widen his brief and make him responsible for overseeing the rebuilding of the club.

Executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward is eager to conclude matters and give Phelan the reins.

The 56-year-old once held a similar role at Central Coast Mariners in Australia.

Well, in that case he must be perfectly qualified for the position!

Last night was one of the few times I've watched them this season, and let me just say HAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAA! They weren't just beaten with a smash and grab job, they were absolutely dominated. Even at 3-0 up Everton were still calling the shots. It was like watching us against them.

Watched the second half awful from them or should I say brilliant :) but, I did notice the commentary was all about them not Everton. Rags have come back more from 2-0 down more than any other team...rags this, rags that etc Oh Everton have won.

No, that is not the answer.

The reason I feel Ole is the right man, is because Ole knows what the true traditions and nature of the club are. That is the difference between him and Mourinho, Moyes and LVG.

Sick of hearing this. What does that even mean? Absolute rubbish

That’s a post from one of the posters on redcafe replying to one of their morons. Even their owns fan don’t understand what some of their other supporters go on about. ‘True traditions’ ‘United Way’ ‘DNA’. It’s United bingo.

I'm not sick, I quite like that. As long as that's important for their board, they'll have more shit managers like OG Shakespeare.

What’s the underlying problem here with the rags? They didn’t want to play for Mourinho and got him out, now they’ve come to the end of their mini revival all the blame is being pointed at the players. I don’t know how much credence you can give to stories of splits in the dressing room between the Spanish speaking and English players. A top six side doesn’t lay down at Goodison park like that, it looked a strong line up for what Solksjar could have put out.

It can’t get any worse than this for the rags or can it? Who does he bring in on Wednesday as a lot of those players need to see the bench to get a reaction. Are we going to see him throw the kids in against a City side that is smelling blood as I don’t think picking the same side as yesterday will work.
