He has been critical in big games for us - have a feeling he will again on Wed.
Sterling has torn right backs a new arsehole routinely on the left. For me he has to start and have Sterling on the right, plenty of width and pace to stretch them and Berny in the middle
This is the problem for Pep, Sterling has been outstanding on the left, with KDB being injured and Merlin struggling for form I think Bernardo comes into the middle which leaves Mahrez as our only option on the right.Sterling has torn right backs a new arsehole routinely on the left.
He can stay there, thanks very much.
Our best front three for the rest of the season, as they have been throughout the season, is Sterling/Aguero/Bernardo.This is the problem for Pep, Sterling has been outstanding on the left, with KDB being injured and Merlin struggling for form I think Bernardo comes into the middle which leaves Mahrez as our only option on the right.
Unless Pep has the confidence to stick with Foden in the middle.
You can coach all you want about positional play, tactics but you can't make slow players fast.
Leroy has pace to burn. Pace terrifying teams to death. Spurs would have been relieved he wasn't on team sheet.
And yet Maghreb our record signing didn't figure in either game against Spurs yet we invested heavily in him.it says it all really he needs moved on as quickly as possible a record signing who can't even get on in two of the biggest games so far this season.
Get the money pumped into keeping and developing sane
I think that’s what he’ll stick with. Midfield will be fern, gundogan and Silva. Our best front three for the rest of the season, as they have been throughout the season, is Sterling/Aguero/Bernardo.
Pep can sort the midfield out after those three names go on the team sheet.

Wow wow wow! Easy man! I'm with you to a point, as he does seem to have more super fans than the average, but he is a serious talent. The type we'd be trying to buy for 95 million if he played somewhere else.I'm obviously in the minority, possibly even of just one, but I wouldn't lose any sleep if Sané was sold.

My rule is simple, if he is mad talented and he is already here, then try to keep him.
Sterling has played really well on the right. And Sané played there a lot at Schalke iirc.
