This is the problem for Pep, Sterling has been outstanding on the left, with KDB being injured and Merlin struggling for form I think Bernardo comes into the middle which leaves Mahrez as our only option on the right.
Unless Pep has the confidence to stick with Foden in the middle.

Sterling has been just as impressive on the right - case in point Palace game. In fact, around this time last year, most of us were lamenting that Sterling couldn't play on the left.

Wow wow wow! Easy man! I'm with you to a point, as he does seem to have more super fans than the average, but he is a serious talent. The type we'd be trying to buy for 95 million if he played somewhere else.

My rule is simple, if he is mad talented and he is already here, then try to keep him.

Sterling has played really well on the right. And Sané played there a lot at Schalke iirc.

If you watch his off the ball work it's clear why he isn't getting the game time. Doesn't work hard enough and when he does its brainless, all the other forwards press hard and close off passing angles. When Leroy presses hard he regularly takes himself out of the game. It is a worry as by now he should be able to do it properly and if we let him go it will be a huge shame.

There aren't many natural wingers in the world right now, selling Sane would be insane.

Sterling has played really well on the right. And Sané played there a lot at Schalke iirc.

I'd love to see Sané on the right, I think he'd get just as many goals as Sterling. The only problem is he's not good enough with his right to go out wide when you need to. Sterling cuts in when he plays on the left, but he will also stick to the touchline when he needs to and his left is much better than Leroy's right.

If all this rumour and speculation turns out true, i’ll be absolutely gutted. For me, Sane is a superb player who hasn’t yet reached anywhere near his potential.
