ball but sorry but Walker was pants I thought. Check out 59 mins he misplaces a pass ,loses his man and stands around as they almost score. Plenty of other brain farts.
 
Rags responded to toffees loss amd we looked a bot shocked, once we settled we dominated
Silva was class and tbf moving berny inside and habe sane on gave us more umph and secured a game we were already in control of De gea finally being found out to be the modern jim leighton.
 
Brilliant second half,and really pleased for Sané to get a goal big game player silva age is catching up with him hahahahaha yeah dead on,to be fair always felt we would handle the huff and puff of the rags but I hope some don’t think it’s done and dusted Burnley I consider a harder game than tonight or spurs,just a game at a time,and I’ll finish with the words of one g.nevville “if city win the title this year I would consider it a far bigger achievement than last seasons record breaking season you just don’t realise how hard it is to maintain levels through two seasons especially after winning the title as they did last year”
 
Predicted that kind of display, ride the storm first half turn it on second half and boy did we deliver when it mattered. Didn’t want to say it out loud but dinhos injury won us that game as it forced pep into doing what we’ve all been begging for getting sane on and getting both sterling and Bernardo in their best positions, the difference as soon as that happened was plain to see. We need that team for the last 3 games now, plenty of time for rest and preparation no excuses let’s see the desire from the players and the fans to retain our title!
 
We were chatting about David Silva bring subpar on the Sane thread and with perfect timing he rolled back time to show us what a great player he is, though probably (sacrilegious as it may sound) he may not be best player named Silva in the City squad right now.

Maybe not coincidence he was rested weekend, with Foden emerging we can still wring several more years of magic out of him.

And Pep, please play Sane more!
 
bossed the game after the half hour mark after a messy start to the game. David Silva got a grip of the game and we composed ourselves.

One. Game. At. A. Time. - this has to be the message to the players and everyone.

In the league we still have 3 hard games as Burnley and Leicester are going to be battles and if it comes down to the last game of the season then Brighton have shown us they can really dig in and defend and make it difficult.

But it was a big step forward tonight and this team have shown so much character after the champs league defeat
 
Not a great first half, though they never looked like scoring, didn’t do my nerves any good.
Grew into the game and were in control for most of that second half.
3 points against the dirty scum bastards is always nice.
3 more of them to come.
