United (A) Post Match Thread

A few things I learnt from the post match analysis on sky

Roy Keane is clearly a lunatic and all the other pundits know it

He hates United on a personal level. Would love to know why

He hates Neville and Neville is scared to death of him

Joe H is a class act and will never speak badly of city or Pep

Nice line from match report on Beeb, by Phil McNulty, Chief football writer:

The facts of the matter are simple.
City's 2-0 victory margin barely scratches at how much better they were than United.

Fair play to them, they do produce a beautiful surface on which to play. Now, if Burnley don't serve up a dry, rutted surface on Sunday, I'll be very surprised.

I thought he was a complete liability today, often struggled to make simple passes and don’t get me started on those stupid attempts to do overhead kick clearances
That one overhead kick attempt was enough to put Lingaard off. First half watch how many blocks and headers he makes. Passing off at times but only liability in our back 4 is Walker who is never tight enough and gambling that he’s quicker than his man and miles away from who ever is playing cb next to him.
VK played 80 mins in a yellow as well which ain’t easy. Rashford there biggest threat and VK dealt with it.

Dippers and rags at work last night were very quiet.
They’re all complaining that Silva should have had a red.
Fück off was my answer, how about Lindegard on Gundogan???

Paul Pogba

Would he bring his A-game? This was the good Pogba who always looked to be positive. 7

Fred

Composed and classy, and did all of the running expected of a holding midfielder. 7

Lol. Obviously watching a different game to me.

Just watched the game again. How did everyone miss Sergio dragging the whole united back 4 out of the way for Sané’s goal? Brilliant.
Also missed Rashford’s interview first time, he’s almost crying, poor kid :-) that squad is in trouble.

This Jackson guy has blatantly never kicked a ball in his life. Never even got picked for Wembley doubles in the playground. He’s a complete whopper who couldn’t fill a postage stamp with anything of relevance about football.

I cannot believe what I have just read.

It was not ridiculous and Sane proved it. After the game Pep said that he was not planning to bring Sane on so early, but he was forced by Ferns injury.
Of course it was fucking ridiculous, you had conceded defeat in the title race and were slagging the manager. We were also 1-0 up when Sane came on.

As a wise man once said, it is better to say nothing and have people think you're an idiot than open your mouth and confirm it. Maybe chill out with your posts having a thrombie until a game is finished in future.
