United thread 2018/19

"Taking the players to The Cliff training ground generated some sort of response but it was not enough. The danger is that Solskjær concludes he is not being nostalgic enough. So what next? A round of golf with Alex Stepney at Davyhulme? Get Bryan Robson to take the lads on an all-day bender at Pat Crerand’s pub?"

"The worry now is that Solskjær actually believes all this guff and thinks all that is required for United’s return to the top is the reimposition of Fergusonian values."

"Solskjær might get the whole squad to sit down and watch the X-Files with a bottle of Two Dogs while worrying about the millennium bug, but reliving the 90s won’t get beyond United’s basic lack of long-term planning"

Ha! I liked the 'Psycho' reference.

Can I just say I wouldn't take one of their players, not one is good enough, what is all this shit about Pogbad, fatty Shaw would be good under Pep?? these players are no where near good enough technically, work rate or football brain wise. And what is all the fuss about Rashford? half way through the first half last night Tyler calls him the star performer ??? what !!! he had done 2 runs behind Vinny and had one shot from miles out that went well over the bar ?? just don't get it. like others have said on here, he can run fast and kick a ball hard,

I’ve said it before, but never pity a rag.

They made their bed, now they have to lie in it.

Fuck them!

Never ever pity them!! Now is the time to crush them into oblivion if we show them any mercy they will start to sprout again. Trust me they are as obnoxious as ever, they were all over social media gloating when Spur's knocked us out. No pity!!

The mighty rags

Accuse pep of all people of planning to sent his team out to kick them

Trying to influence the ref pre-match

Falling over constantly to get our players booked

Hoof it to spotty boy

Put on all your attackers and stil can't lay a glove on the noisy neighbours

It's going rather well i think

One thing that struck me last night and something I'm a bit surprised hasn't been picked up in the media - I couldn't believe how fat some of the united players were. They are supposedly professional athletes and at least 5 were overweight. No wonder they're shit.

Fatty Shaw has been taking them to Greggs after training every day.

No, no. You stay where you are. You're doing a simply magnificent job. In fact, I think you should ask for a raise.

Can imagine it now......

“Ed - it’s Inter Milan on the phone for you.
Something about buying Lukaku”

“Hello can I help?”

“Yes here is the deal. You transfer Lukaku to us for an undisclosed fee. It will actually be zero pounds but you can say it’s undiclosed and the British press can report it as £70m”

“Ok - I think we can do that. Anything to get his wages off the books”

“What? I don’t think so buddy! You will also be paying 95% of his wages. Do you think we are fucking stupid?”

“Ok no worries it’s a deal as long as you take Phil Jones too. You can have him as part of the deal and we will pay all of his wages”

Line goes dead......

They are such a shit team. When they lose Pogba and De Gea this summer, Rashford will demand to leave and they will be screwed. They will struggle for top 10 if that happens.

Seeing Rashford interviewed last night, he seemed a decent lad but not well endowed in intelligence.

And if there's one thing Pep's players need it's intelligence. Listen to any of ours talk (with the possible exception of Delph) and they come over as articulate, often multi-lingual, footballing intellectuals. Poor Rashers wouldn't fit in at all.
