When net spend s calculated, never is the cost of the players sold taken into account. Sell player for 100M it’s not profit if he cost 50M to buyand 25M in wages/ bonuses
Not to mention a full set of enamelsIt doesn't matter where the money comes from. Liverpool money is holy, untainted and complete with papal blessing. Everybody else's, particularly ours, is dirty, oily, and has a carbon footprint the size of Stanley Park, the PIer Head, Albert Dock, Liverpool 1 (EFC 2), The Milky Way and Virgil's fat arse!
Net spend is just putative cash flow on transfer market, not taking into account the actual timing of payments or addltional payments due. It is meaninglessWhen net spend s calculated, never is the cost of the players sold taken into account. Sell player for 100M it’s not profit if he cost 50M to buyand 25M in wages/ bonuses
I agree net spend is a bit of nonsense but it is funny to use it to wind up West Ham or Woolwich fans with.
How stuffed is Mr levy's sofa looking from this seasons net spend? is he thinking its time to visit DFS yet?
