Sky News also reporting that according to 'sky sources' the UEFA panel investigating the financial allegations believe CFCBIC are going to recommend a 1 year ban. So are Sky just using the story from the NY Times or has news of the decision also been leaked to them?

No because they could be making it up . They are masters at fake news . On the other hand if this Tariq guy is telling us the truth they have no need to provide their source right now . However if it means that Uefa 's CFCBIC is undermined by intentional leaking then the process of investigation becomes a predetermined outcome and damaging in a legal sense. CAS may have no other option but to throw any recommendations from Uefa via CFCBIC out. However it's impossible to say that will be the case as CAS itself may have a bias .
Is that you Donald?

Ha ha, I love the way they attribute wishes to City fans which they couldn't possibly know. For the record, if it wasn't for the cash, I wouldn't be remotely interested in the CL unless it reverted back to its previous format i.e it was for champions only and not the also-rans.

Agreed.

The propping it up bit.

You are allowed related sponsors as long as they are fair value......
So the only really issue is if City said it wasn't a related sponsor but now UEFA have evidence otherwise.

Confident we would now get a hell of a lot more then the £40m Etihad deal from outside investment so the Question is why would City continue with Etihad if it's coming out of the Sheikh pocket?

Do you honestly believe that such comments will un-nerve the players and coaching staff ?
NOT one little bit.
Exactly.

I remember a journalist asking the question to Mbappé or Neymar about all the FFP allegations against PSG. The players simply answered that all they care about is the field side of football and they have full trust in the owners and president.

The real problem with FFP is with the sponsors. They want to be associated with a club that drives positive comments. Being always in FFP aim and the whole "cheating" reports from the media can make the club position weaker when dealing with potential sponsors. Also, if you get banned from CL, they might have clauses which will reduce the money received by the club. And the disgusting part is, then, UEFA will hammer you with FFP because your sponsoring incomes have been reduced...

"Many City fans meanwhile are entrenched in their view that this is all a conspiracy against the nouveau riche ..."

What absolute bollocks. They have absolutely no idea that we can see it for what it is. And we can also see that they aren't aware that they're part of it if they're talking like this.

I bet every Bolton Wanderers supporter would be wishing that they too could be in the same boat as us. This is a totally cartel stitch up that will ultimately defeat UEFA's own ideas of safeguarding football clubs futures.
Bolton would meet ffp in their present predicament, that’s how ridiculous the rule is.

Bloke on talksport has just said we broke ffp and have done it again . We are a repeat offender . Also we take our money from a country
