Breaking records/stats thread

One big record still to hopefully come this season, but there are plenty that we have now put in the frame for next, on top of the in season records there's these I can think of

Most consecutive league wins - record 18, currently on 14
Most consecutive away wins - record 11, currently on 7
Most consecutive home wins - record 20, currently on 10

consecutive Premier League titles - record 3, currently on 2

Could be a special season for Sergio too next year, he has these in his sights.

Consecutive seasons scoring 20 goals - record 5, currently on 5
Most goals for a single club - record 183, currently on 164
Most premier league hat-tricks, current record 11, currently on 11

To think there was a point we were looking up at the 95 point league record and thinking it may never be beaten. Now done it twice in consecutive seasons, resoundingly so. Cheers Pep.

Hey, I'm not as thick as I look, you know!

Theres never been a 'double double'. Think Liverpool won League and League Cup on the early 80s.

Just checked they did it 3 seasons 82, 83 & 84.

They can add that to there second place trophy from this season.

Surely it’s a quad, like poker the charity shield becomes relevant when you have a full house or call it a grand slam as I’ve heard others call it.

I make it that conceded 14 goals in 10 league matches played in December and January, 9 goals in the remaining 28 matches. Our defence midwinter blip aside was very very good

With a decent fixture run at the start of the season there is every chance we'll smash that 18 win streak from last season. Only need 5 wins to beat it.

Even with a tough start to the season, I still think we'll do it, our lads will be fairly fresh (only internationals and a couple of UEFA Nations games and AFCON).

In fact we could start really fast next season, whereas Liverpool for example will have had Salah, Mane, Keita and Matip all at AFCON.

This year us & spuds bettered Chelsea's previous record of just 3 draws in a season - we both managed just 2 draws.

- Manchester City are the first English top-flight side in history to win 50 matches in a single season in all competitions.

- Manchester City have become the first men’s team to win the domestic treble in England, winning the Premier League, FA Cup and League Cup.
