Players allegedly singing “Allez” song

I actually think it’s disgusting they’ve tried to make it about Sean Cox and Hillsborough as point scoring.

It’s blatantly not about that but they’ve invented reasoning behind certain words to make themselves out to be victims.

Fucking degenerates.

Genuinely hope Spurs score a last min winner in the 120’th min by smashing it off VVD’s face for an OG.
Spot on. That's the key thing here, it's these rats that have wanted to take it down this path.

Lower than a snakes belly these twats.

That's actually a rational take on it. Except there's no way they wouldn't be making songs and rubbing it in City's faces had they pipped us to the title. He can call it weird they are getting a mention all he likes, they are constantly trying to steal our teams spotlight and the media are all too willing to oblige them.

His argument is that certain things are a trigger for people, so even if you don't mean it that way, the decent thing would be not to keep doing it, to bring up bad memories.

So he knows "victim" is nothing to do with Hillsborough, that is not what 99% of people are saying when call them that, it's because everything that doesn't go their way is seen as a massive injustice to them and worthy of a petition... it's become a meme in itself and they hate it. They want to shut down any pisstaking of them whatsoever.

The battered on the streets line, he seems to know was nothing to do with Sean Cox. The suggestion of changing that line I actually think there's more of a case for, we could change that if it's not going to be spun into an admittance of guilt but what are the chances of that with these lot? Does he know how bad his own fans can be?

Sean cox’s brother is now suggesting despite it not being about his brother, it reminds him of his brothers attack and he’s disgusted people would sing it.

Liverpool sing you’ll never walk alone every game, whilst it’s not about me, it takes me back to the time I had to walk home alone as a scared child, it’s disgusting people would continuously sing it.

What is it they say? “Sticks and Stones may break my bones but names with never hurt me”

Well we could say Beer cans, Flares and Stones did wreck a coach but words in a song will never hurt you

I was surprised the FA were even looking at it to be honest. Not sure about anyone else but I couldn't recognise anyone singing on that video. Although the scousers as usual all jumped on their self righteous horses, I guess we would have been annoyed if their players/staff were mocking us, but to make it about the injured fan and Hillsborough was pretty despicable.

One thing is our players have to be ultra professional and not be seen doing stuff like this. We are public enemy number one and they are looking for any excuse to hammer us.

As we have been singing it all season its funny he just mentioned it now and he is talking utter bollocks. As an Irish Liverpool fan though who'd have thought that?

Is he going to apologise for all the slashings ? The coach attack? List is endless.

Why wouldnt we sing a song against scousers? Suddenly that's weird? Seriously??? We've hated them years and years and years

He's the weird fucker......another victim.

And it rumbles on.....

Manchester City’s defence of ‘battered’ song is seriously misguided

Club’s reaction to footage showing staff taking delight in lyrics that cause distress among Liverpool fans is a reminder we all can – and should – do better
