What if he only wants bayern and they won't pay big money but a english side would?
The player has the power, if he’ll only go to Bayern , my guess is we’d take their offer rather than keep an unhappy player taking up a squad place for two years and lose him for nothing.
IF he wants to go best get as much as we can and let Pep work with players that want to be here, and he can get the best from, sure Pep would feel the same.

What English club could he go to that is better than us? It would be a big gamble for him, unless he was a secret dipper, Spurs or Chelsea fan growing up.

If he leaves I see it being to Bayern, Real or Barcelona, with PSG an outside bet.

His form has been erratic to say the least lately and a bit like Jesus he has kind of stalled, it can happen with younger players. If he leaves I have no doubt he will have games he looks world class but I don't see him doing it on a consistent basis.

Don't think there is anyway we let him run his contract down , thats the Arsenal model.

we didn't sell anyone from our quality players and who we wanted to keep. Either they signed new deals or went for free. I'd let him go free if price is not what he's worth. Specially if Bayern is the buyer. We keep Sane at some 10 million per season, that's not big amount at all. It's questionable if we'd buy his level of quality for the price we'd get fr him now and we'd pay bigger wages too the new guy. In 2 years time he might change his mind and sing a new deal.

Bayern should never get him for same or less than some fucking Hernandez or whatever is his name from Atletico.

Not 23 year olds . He signs or gets sold.

.

Better than your solution , and what will happen.

We'll see what will happen, but no way it's better solution as we'd pay 80 mil. at least for player of his age and quality and still are not guaranteed it will work.

Wit Sane, we have known quality and 2 more years of him would mean 100-120 goals/assists for 50-60 million spent on his fee and wages over 5 years. Value.

Just watched the video of all our goals this season. His goals and assists are just pure quality. He is the most natural striker of a ball we have (other than Vinnie). He will get better and wiser with age. It would be very disappointing to lose him, particularly to the c**nts at Bayern.

If he doesn’t want to be here, very odd but so be it. ( Contrast Stones,Laporte,Bernardo,Raz,Jesus et al )
Sell to a foreign club for best price + lucrative extras.
Neither Pep nor the rest of the players want someone stinking the place out like Pogba et al.
Not what anyone wants but it’s his choice to leave the ‘best team in the land & all the world’ !!

'Stinking the place out'

'Doesn't want to be here'

Have you any evidence to support either of those comments?

I really hope he stays but many of us know how difficult it is to do your best at work when your heart isn’t really in it. All organisations lose valued staff from time to time. It’s particularly annoying when the ones you want to get rid of never go anywhere (feel free to fill in the blanks from a City perspective).

Not sure.

If he left now we'd have to pay him 2 years' wages & pay to replace him, then pay someone else's wages, which might be more.

If we keep him, he might sign a new deal anyhow.

Sane has 2 years left on his contract and thats worth around 8/10m in wages if he wont sign we have to cash in! missing out on 80/100m business wise is bad business.

We would have to spend that to replace him & would be strengthening a rival. The player we replace him with, might fail, then we would have to spend it again.

If he is staying for two more years, he may sign anyhow or become worth higher wages & sign for that, rather than just playing out time.

Yes of course we would and maybe more but Id rather get money for him if he wont resign that he goes for nought and we still would have to buy someone for big money to replace him.

But we, I mean fans , have no idea how he would react if he wants to leave and is kept for 2 years when he should be approaching his peak, better to have any replacement if he wants to go working with the squad now.

Let's lose him in 2 years time for nothing then.

I'm of the same mind. Two years is a long time in football and he earns a relatively modest £65k a week, so it would be costing the club peanuts to keep a genuine game-changer in the squad mix.

The only issue comes if that results in a lack of professionalism from him. We don't need the money, though. We shouldn't care what other people think if we allow a 25-26-year-old coming into his peak to walk away for nothing.

Lewandowski did so.

We can still afford to go out and buy his long-term replacement. Sane and his advisers just need to know that we wouldn't be bluffing and any lack of professionalism won't force an exit.

In that respect, it would be up to Sane's side to convince Bayern to pony up the suitable price now.
