They don't like it up 'em.
It's very interesting how they go from "doesn't matter who the journalist is/supports/works for the story is what's important" to attacking a Twitter user for who they are and not what they linked.

His responses (like from most others Rabin has called out) have been mostly deflection, as this actually is. He’s made unfounded accusations and suggested something he knows will likely never happen for legitimate reasons (debating a random none journalist who had the temerity to look beyond the surface of Harris’ work) in the hopes that they will taint Rabin’s scrutiny and the inevitable dismissal of the challenge will also see Rabin off as a source of sunlight. It's very interesting how they go from "doesn't matter who the journalist is/supports/works for the story is what's important" to attacking a Twitter user for who they are and not what they linked.
Probably the best thing Rabin can do is to simply ignore this obvious rhetorical tricking and simply keep publishing things that make Nick Harris and his friends look like the twats they are. He obviously hit a nerve !His responses (like from most others Rabin has called out) have been mostly deflection, as this actually is. This is (ironically?) a classic PR strategy, though, not particularly well executed.
I agree, keep up the good work Rab .Probably the best thing Rabin can do is to simply ignore this obvious rhetorical tricking and simply keep publishing things that make Nick Harris and his friends look like the twats they are. He obviously hit a nerve !
He'll be here somewhere like they all are in the shadows but wouldn't show himself, to be honest it'd be 50 posts of abuse and odd ones from members trying to engage in a serious manner it would be impossiblePosted similar elsewhere but the first FFP thread on BM should be compulsory reading for all journos.
I suggest we invite him onto BM to debate facts, oops sorry, for a moment there I forget he is not fit for that purpose.

I think he wasI could be mistaken but wasn't Nick Harris a member of this forum several years ago for a while but got seen off by more knowledgeable people than him for spouting bollocks about FFP?
Anyway, if anyone wants a laugh he's currently getting destroyed by blues on that thread of Rabin's!
Wasn't that Andrew Dillon (about Silva)?

Nick Harris and Rob Harris. Two different people.Isn't it just? I note also that the he's responded to the various people asking him to answer questions about his payments from the middle east by saying he doesn't know what they are referring to. This is known as a lie, he knows perfectly well.
Tweedle dee and Tweedle Dumb.Nick Harris and Rob Harris. Two different people.
What???My memory has been jogged by this thread. So of I went in search of John Dillon. It seems he has become a better journalist and a better man after he was pulled up on his outrage slur on both the club and David Silva.
Can I just say, well done John and welcome back.
