Anniversary kit reminds me of the kit we wore for the rags Munich anniversary where we won 2-1 ..

I do too. The violet isn't really that intrusive, just a little different -- other than that it's a very clean design with no scratchy shit, insipid buttons/collars, two-toned sleeves, etc. And the anniversary kit will be very popular and should be.
